FreshFunction
By pressingthe "FreshSelect Zone" button,you can select propertemperature function for your foods.
Itchanges in the following sequence:Soft Freeze,Chill, Cool and Fresh.
Soft Freeze
Youcan use "SoftFreeze"functionto help keep meatand fishfreshfor longerthan the Fridge.
When "Soft Freeze"mode is selected,the compartmenttemperaturewill be approximately19.4 °F(dependingon
the ambienttemperature& amount stored).
- Meatcan be storedsafelyfor a longer periodof time in this modethan inthe other modes and has the advantage
that the meatwill remainsoft enoughto be easilysliced.
- Do not put bottlesand glass containersorfoodsthat have a high water content as these are liableto burstdueto
the lowtemperature.
Chill
Youcan use "Chill"functionto help keep fresh at about 30°F.
At 30°F, nearthe water Freezing temperature,foods can be stored safelyfor longerthan the refrigeratingtem-
perature.
- Do not put bottles and glasscontainers or foods that have a high watercontent inthe drawer,because the
"Chill" temperature is below 32°E
Cool
"Cool" function keepsthe set fridge temperature.
For example, if the Fridge is set to 38°F,the Fresh SelectZone will bethe same.
The Cool function keepshumidity of this compartment high.
- If you put foodsthat contain a lot of waterwithout lids or wrapping paper, water dropletsmay form on the side
wall, because of high humidity.
Fresh
Youcan use "Fresh"functionto help keep vegetablesand fruits fresher.
"Fresh"temperature is about 39°F.The humidity is kept highfor veggie and fruit storage.
Upper Drawer
The humidity in the drawer is high when fresh food is stored in "Cool" or "Fresh"mode.
Drawer
You can also store bottles in "Fresh"mode.
The humidity inthe drawer is kept high in "Cool" and "Fresh"mode.
