1. Read Instructions- All the safety and operating instructions

5. Cleaning - Unplugthis productfrom the wall outlet before cleaning.

6. Attachments - Do not use attachments not recommendedby the
product manufactureras they may cause hazards.
7. Water and Moisture-Do not usethis product near water, for
example,near a bath tub, wash bowl,kitchen sink,or laundry tub,
in a wet basement, or near a swimmingpool, and the like.
8. Accessories - Do not place this product on an unstablecart, stand,
tripod, bracket,or table. The productmay fall, causing serious
injury to a child or adult, and serious damageto the appliance.
Use only with a cart. stand, tripod, bracket, or table recommended
by the manufacturer,or sold with the product.Any mountingof the
appliance shouldfollow the manufacturer's PORTABLECARTWARNING

accessory recommendedby the
manufacturer.An applianceand cart
combinationshould be moved with care.
Quick stops, excessiveforce, and uneven

9. Ventilation - Slots and openings in the cabinet are providedfor
ventilationand to ensure reliableoperationof the productand to
protect it from overheating,and these openingsmust not be
blocked or covered. The openingsshould never be blockedby
placingthe product on a bed, sofa, rug, or othersimilar surface.
This productshould not be placed in a built-in installationsuch as
a bookcaseor rack unless properventilation is provided or the
manufacturer'sinstructionshave been adhered to.
10. PowerSources - This productshould be operatedonly from the
type of power source indicated on the marking label Jfyou are not
sure of the type of power supplyto your home, consuit your
appliance dealeror localpower company.For products intended
to operatefrom battery power, or other sources, referto the
operatinginstructions.
11. Grounding or Polarization- This product isequipped with a
polarizedalternating-currentline plug (a plug having one blade
wider than the other). This plugwill fit into the power outlet only
one way. This is a safetyfeature. If you are unable to insert the
plugfully into the outlet, try reversingthe plug. If the plug should
still fail to fit, contact your electricianto replace your obsolete
outlet. Do not defeat the safety purposeof the polarizedplug.
12. PowerCord Protec%n - Power supplycords shouldbe routed so
that they are not likely to be walked on or pinchedby items placed
upon or againstthem, paying particular attention to cords at plugs,
conveniencereceptacles,and the point where they exit from the
appliance.
13. Outdoor AntennaGrounding- If an outsideantenna or cable
systemis connectedto the product, be sure the antennaor cable
systemis grounded so as to provide some protectionagainst
voltage surges and built-up static charges.Article 810 of the
NationalElectricalCode, ANSI/NFPA No. 70, providesinformation
with regard to proper groundingof the mast and supporting
structure,groundingof the lead-in wire to an antennadischarge
unit, size of groundingconductors, location of antenna-discharge
unit, connectionto grounding electrodes, and requirementsfor the

14. Lightning- Foradded protection for this productduring a lightning
storm, or when it is left unattendedand unused for longperiods of
time, unplug it from the wall outlet and disconnectthe antenna or
cable system.This will preventdamage to the productdue to
lightning and power-linesurges.
15. Power Lines- An outside antenna systemshould not be locatedin
the vicinity of overheadpower lines or other electric light or power
circuits, or where it can fall into such power lines or circuits.When
installingan outside antenna system, extreme care shouldbe
taken to keep from touching such power linesor circuits ascontact
with them might be fatal.
16. Overloading- Do not overload wall outletsand extension cords as
this can resultin a risk of fire or electricshock.
17. Object and Liquid Entry- Neverpush objectsof any kind intothis
product through anyopenings as they maytouch dangerous
voltage points or short-out parts that could result in a fire or
electric shock.Never spill liquidof any kind on the product.
18. Servicing - Do not attempt to service this productyourself as
opening or removing covers mayexpose you to dangerousvoltage
or other hazards. Refer all servicingto qualified service personnel.
19. Damage RequiringService - UnpDg this productfrom the wall

followingconditions:
a. Whenthe power-supplycord or plug is damaged.
b. If liquid hasbeen spilled, or objects havefallen into the product.
c. If the product hasbeen exposed to rain orwater.

e. If the producthas been dropped or damagedin any way.
f. Whenthe productexhibits a distinct change in performancethis
indicates a needfor service.
20. Replacement Parts- When replacementparts are required,be
sure the servicetechnician has usedreplacementparts specified
by the manufactureror have the same characteristicsas the
original part. Unauthorizedsubstitutions may result in fire, electric
shock or other hazards.
21. Safety Check- Uponcompletion of any service or repairsto this
product, ask the servicetechnicianto performsafety checks to
determine that the productis in properoperating condition.
22. Heat- This product shouldbe situated away from heat sources
such as radiators, heat registers,stoves, or other products
