5. NFC (Top of cabinet):
If your Android smart phone has NFC, make sure it is switched on in your device and be
sure the display on your device is unlocked. Change the source to Bluetooth. When the
Bluetooth logo begins flashing after about 15 seconds in the lower right corner of the
display, touch the NFC area of your smart phone to the NFC logo on the top of the
cabinet. You may need to adjust your smart phone’s position around the cabinet’s NFC
logo until it locates the signal. If your smart phone is in a case, the case might reduce the
NFC signal. Once NFC is established, follow the instructions displayed on your smart
phone’s display to establish the Bluetooth connection. Touch your smart phone to the
cabinet’s NFC logo again to disconnect from Bluetooth. If your smart device does not
support NFC, see the section marked “Bluetooth”. You should not need to pair or use
NFC again after successfully pairing a device except to disconnect from Bluetooth. You
can also peel off the NFC sticker if you prefer.
