Engine-to-Hydrostatic Drives Belt
Adjustment (Hydro Input Belt)
• The hydro input belt is located
underneath the chassis atthe rear
of the mower. The belt should move
approximately 1/8 to 3/16-inch with
three (3) to five (5) pounds of
pressure applied to the belt midway
between the hydrostatic drive
pulleys when initially installed. After
approximately 1 hour of running
time, verify that the belt tension is
still correct and tighten if necessary
Important: Do not over-tighten the
belt.
• To adjust the belt, turn the nut on
the threaded tension rod found on
the right, rear corner of the mower.
• 13onotover-tighten. This could
cause damage to the hydraulic drive
systems.
• The hydro input belt is an 8PK1690
multi ribbed v belt.
