INTRODUCTION
The Keypad Controlled Motion Sensor can either be wall mounted using the bracket supplied or used freestanding for
portable use. It is operated using a 4-digit user access code with the keypad on the front of the alarm. The system has 3
operating modes: CHIME, AWAY and Home mode. CHIME mode is a low security feature that will produce a door-chime
sound when the alarm is triggered. In AWAY mode the device will produce a constant high volume alarm sound after
ENTRY delay when triggered. In HOME mode the unit will produce a constant high volume alarm sound IMMEDIATELY
after it is triggered.
INSTALLING BATTERIES & CREATING PERSONAL ALARM CODE
The keypad controlled door alarm requires 3xAAA alkaline batteries (not included).
1. Remove the battery compartment screw and slide off the cover in the direction of the open arrow.
2. Insert three AAA x batteries (not included). Take care to note the polarity diagram inside the battery
compartment.
3. LED light will start flashing – ENTER 4-digit personal code.
4. Code is confirmed when unit chirps twice and the LED light illuminates for 3 seconds.
5. Replace the battery compartment cover and secure the screw.
INSTALLATION
1. Select your desired location for the alarm, such as the corner of a room. This will provide the maximum
coverage.
NOTE: The sensor has a 6m (20ft) detection zone, with approximate angles of 110 degree horizontal and 70
degrees vertical. Recommended installation height is 1.8 – 2.4m (6-8ft).
2. Secure the mounting bracket to the wall using the provided wall anchors or by screwing the mounting bracket
directly into a wall stud. Once the mounting bracket is installed securely on the wall, insert the bracket of the
mount into the back of the unit and lock in place. The mount will click when secured to the alarm.
OPERATING IN PANIC MODE – PANIC MODE IMMEDIATELY
1. To activate PANIC mode press 1 and 4 at the same time. LED will keep blinking while alarming
2. To deactivate PANIC mode – Enter 4-digit pin
*PANIC can be activated in DISARM, CHIME AND ALARM modes
OPERATING IN CHIME MODE
1. To activate CHIME mode, Press 1 and 2 at the same time.
2. Unit chirps twice – Enter 4-digit pin
3. Confirm – Unit will beep twice, LED light illuminates for 2 seconds and CHIME will sound.
4. To disarm CHIME mode – Enter 4-digit pin
5. Confirm disarm – unit will Beep twice
OPERATING IN ALARM MODE/SELECTING EXIT/ENTRY DELAYS
1. To activate ALARM mode, Press 2 and 3 at the same time
2. Unit will CHIRP and LED Light will flash.
3. Select EXIT/ENTRY Delays:
a. Press “1” for 10 second EXIT delay and 5 second ENTRY delay
b. Press “2” for 15 second EXIT delay and 10 second ENTRY delay
c. Press “3” for 30 second EXIT delay and 15 second ENTRY delay
d. Press “4” for 40 second EXIT delay and 30 second ENTRY delay
4. For delay selection confirmation unit will CHIRP and LED light will illuminate for 3 seconds

5. Once LED light turns off Enter 4-digit pin
6. Unit will Chirp twice and start EXIT delay countdown. LED light will flash for duration of delay.
7. Once the LED light stops flashing the unit is ARMED
8. When unit is triggered – LED light will flash for duration of ENTRY Delay – if unit is not disarmed using the 4-digit
code the alarm will sound until DISARMED.
9. After unit is DISARMED the unit will beep twice for confirmation.
OPERATING IN HOME MODE
1. To activate HOME mode, enter first 3-digits of your 4-digit pin
2. LED light will flash, unit will chirp twice with solid LED light for confirmation
3. Unit will begin 15 second EXIT delay with LED light flashing.
4. Once unit has stopped flashing HOME mode is activated.
5. When unit is triggered the ALARM will sound IMMEDIATELY.
6. Enter 4-digit pin to DISARM the unit.
TESTING
It is recommended that the alarm is tested immediately after installation and at regular intervals not exceeding 1 month.
Note: A cloth can be used to cover the siren and reduce the sound output of the alarm during testing.
BATTERIES
Do not allow the batteries to carrode and leak as this may cause permanent damage to the product. Take care to insert
the batteries with the correct polarity as shown inside the battery compartment. Do not mix new and old batteries or
different types of batteries. Do not use rechargeable batteries.
At the end of their useful life, the batteries should be disposed of via a suitable recycling center. Do not dispose of with
your normal household waste. DO NOT BURN.

residential installation. This equipment generates, uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not installed and
used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interference to radio communications.
However, there is no guarantee that interference will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause
harmful interference to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the equipment off and on, the
user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by one or more of the following measures:
• Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
• Increase the separation between the equipment and receiver.
• Consult the dealer or an experienced radio/TV technician for help.

90 DAY LIMITED WARRANTY
Security Equipment Corporation warrants this product to be free from manufacturing defects for a period of ninety days
from the original date of consumer purchase. This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of this product only
and does not extend to consequential or incidental damage to other products that may be used with this unit. This
warranty does not cover products which have been abused, altered or damaged. This warranty is in lieu of all other
warranties express or implied. TO THE EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SEC DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER IMPLIED OR EXPRESS
WARRANTIES, INCLUDING THE WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND/OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE.
LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY: This limited warranty is your sole remedy and SEC shall not be liable for any damages,
whether direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or otherwise, including lost revenue and lost
profits, arising out of any theory of recover, including statutory, contract or tort. In no event will SEC’s entire liability
exceed the purchase price of this product. Some states and provinces do not allow the exclusion or limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts or permit the exclusion or limitations of incidental or consequential damages, so the
above limitations or exclusions may not apply to you. This limited warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may
also have other rights which vary from state to state and province to province.
