#1. The other end sits on the
"false-bottom hearth" (the sheet
metal surrounding the burner and
supporting the grate), just outside
of the grate. The base of the log
should be about 1" from the end

log #1 (in the center), place log #4
with the charred area of the log facing
down and toward the nearest glass.
The other end of the log rests on the
