DIFFICULT STARTING OR
STARTING A FLOODED ENGINE
The enginemaybe floodedifit hasnot
startedafter10pulls.Floodedengines
canbe clearedofexcessfuel withthe
followingprocedure:
• Pullchokeleveroutfully,then pushit
infullyto set enginein fast idleposi-
ton.
• VerifythattheOn/Stopswitchis inthe
ON position.
• Withsawonground,gripfront handle
withlefthandandplacerightfoot
throughrearhandle.
• Gripstarterropehandleand pul!rope
firmlyandquicklyto startengine.If
notsuccessful,repeatu.ntilengine
starts.
Startingcouldrequire manypullsde-
pendingon howbadlyunitis flooded. If
