one tankof baroilfor everytank of fuel
mix. Alwaysfillthebaroiltankwhen
youfill the fuel tank.
FUELING ENGINE
Thisengineis certifiedto operateon
unleadedgasoline.Beforeoperation,
gasolinemustbe mixedwitha good
quality2-cycleair*cooledengineoil.We
recommendCraftsmanbrandoil.Mix
gasolineandoilat a ratibof40:1 (A
40:1 ratioisobtainedby mixing3.2
ouncesof oilwith1 gallonof unleaded
gasoline).DONOTUSEautomotiveoil
or boatoil.Theseoilswillcauseengine
damage.When mixingfuel followthe
instructionsprintedonthecontainer.
Onceoilisaddedto the gasoline,
shakecontainermomentarilyto assure
thatthefuel isthoroughlymixed.
Alwaysreadandfollow thesafetyrules
relatingto fuel beforefueling yourunit.
IMPORTANT
Experienceindicatesthatalcohol
blendedfuels(calledgasoholor using
ethanolor methanol)canattractmois-
turewhichleadstoseparationand
formation ofacidsduringstorage.Acid-
icgas can damagethefuel systemof
an enginewhileinstorage.
Toavoid engineproblems,the fuel sys-
temshouldbe emptiedbeforestorage
for30 daysorlonger.Drainthe gas
tank,startthe engineandletit rununtil
thefuel linesand carburetorare empty.
