PROBLEM PROBABLE CAUSE REMEDY
10. The engine stops
running and an acoustic
signal is generated
The safety device of the electronic 
circuit board has cut in due to:
Turn the ignition key to «STOP» position
and identify the cause of the problem:
over-voltage caused by 
the charger regulator
contact your Dealer
battery not connected 
correctly (poor contacts)
check the connections (see 3.4)
11. The engine stops
running, and no
acoustic signal
is generated
battery disconnected check the connections (see 3.4)
engine problems contact your Dealer
12. The cutting device do
not engage or do not
stop promptly when 
they are disengaged
loose belt contact your Dealer
problems with the electro-
magnetic clutch
contact your Dealer
13. Uneven mowing and 
insucient collection 
(for rear collection
models only)
cutting device assembly is 
not parallel to the ground
check the tyre pressure (par. 6.1.3)
reinstate the alignment of the cutting device 
assembly in relation to the ground (par. 8.2.1)
inecient cutting device contact your Dealer
forward speed too high 
compared to height of grass
reduce the forward speed and/or raise 
the cutting device assembly (par. 6.5.4)
wait for the grass to dry
collector chute is blocked remove the grass catcher bag and 
empty the chute (see 7.6.2)
14. Uneven mowing (side 
discharge models only)
cutting device assembly is 
not parallel to the ground
check the tyre pressure (par. 6.1.3)
reinstate the alignment of the cutting device 
assembly in relation to the ground (par. 8.2.1)

15. Unusual vibrations
while working
cutting device assembly is full of grass clean the cutting device assembly (par. 7.6.4)
the cutting device are
unbalanced or loose
contact your Dealer
loose bolts and screws check and tighten all the 
engine and frame bolts
16. Uncertain or
ineective braking
the brake is not adjusted correctly contact your Dealer
17. Erratic forward 
movement, poor drive 
when going uphill or 
if the machine has a 
tendency to rear up
problems with the belt or the 
engagement device
contact your Dealer
18. When the engine is
running, the machine 
remains stationary 
when the drive 
pedal is pressed
release lever in the gear
disengagement position
return it to the gear engaged
position (par. 5.4)
If problems persist after having performed the above operations, contact your Dealer.
