1 Unplug the saw
Z_ WARNING: ALWAYS unplug saw before making any adjustments. Failure
to unplug the saw could result in accidental starting which can cause serious
personal injury.

2 Place saw in an upside down position on workbench
3. Use a carpenter's square to check the squareness of the saw blade to the base of your saw.
4 Ifsaw is not square, loosen bevel adjustment locking lever (see Fig. 18).
5. Loosen bevel adjust locking nut counterclockwise,
away from bevel adjust bracket, with small wrench

Use Phillips
screwdriver to
turn bevel adjust
screw up or down
to adjust base
until square with
the blade
(see Fig 18b).
When base is square,
tighten nut clockwise
until tight up against
bevel adjust bracket
