Glass Cooktop Surface Cleaning

Glass Surface--Potential for Permanent Damage

Our testing shows that if you are cooking high
sugar mixtures such as jelly or fudge and have a
spillover, it can cause permanent damage to the
glass surface unless the spillover is immediately
removed.
1. Turn off all surface burne,_. Remove hot
pans and gqates.
2. Wearing an oven mitt:
a. Use a single-edge razor blade scraper
(CERAMA BRYTE _:Ceramic Cool<top
Scraper) to move the spill to a cool area
on the cool<top.
b. Remove the spill with paper towels.
3. Any remaining spillover shouM be lef_ until
the surface of the cool<top has cooled.
4. Don't use the surface burners again until all
of the residue has been completely removed.
NOTE: If pitting or ir_der_tation in the gass su@¢ce
has already occurred, the cooktop glass will have to
be r@laced. In this case, se_wice will be necessary.
