Forenginesstoredover30days:
1. Topreventgum fromforminginfuel systemoron carburetor
parts,runengineuntilit stopsfromlackof fuel oradda gasoline
additiveto thegas in thetank. If youuse a gas additive,run the
enginefor severalminutesto circulatethe additivethroughthe
carburetor--afterwhichthe engineandfuel canbe storedupto
24months.
2. Whileengineis stillwarm,changethe oil.
3. Cleanengineof surfacedebris.

• Cleanandlubricatemowerthoroughlyas describedin the lubrica-
tion instructions.
• Donot usea pressurewasheror gardenhoseto cleanyour unit.
• Coatmower'scuttingbladewith chassisgreaseto prevent
rusting.
• Referto PREPARINGTHE ENGINEfor correctengine storage
instructions.
• Store mowerin a dry,cleanarea. Do notstorenextto corrosive
materials,suchas fertilizer.
Whenstoringany typeof powerequipmentin a poorlyventilatedor
metalstorageshed,care shouldbe taken to rust-prooftheequipment.
Usinga lightoil or silicone,coat the equipment,especiallycablesand
all movingpartsof yourlawnmowerbeforestorage.
Battery
The batterymustbestoredwitha full charge.Extendedstorageof a
dischargedbatterywill reducelifeandcapacityof the battery.
