Matrix
Matrix effects are video based effects designed to be pixel mapped. When a new matrix effect is created, it will appear within the
fixture window on a rectangle. This rectangle can be dragged over lighting fixtures, resized and rotated.
All effect types available within the pixel effect are available within the matrix effect, however a matrix effect doesn’t understand
how many fixtures are being used, so effects such as chases and knight rider will not look as precise.
Several additional effect types are included as part of the Matrix effect:
Audio patterns such as ‘Bar Graph’ and ‘Level’ meter allow you to manipulate patterns with an
incoming audio signal
The Bouncing effect allows you to choose different shapes to bounce around the mapped area
The Media effect lets you choose an image or video to play on the mapped area
Use the text effect to display or scroll custom text across the mapped area
