Selecting a Metering Method
Set the metering method in [AE Metering] of
the A2/B2 menu.
Multi-segment
Meters exposure in multiple areas of the frame.
Center-weighted
Meters exposure with emphasis on the center.
Spot
Meters exposure within a narrow range.
Use this option when metering exposure in a part of an image or when the metering
target subject is small.
Highlight-weighted
Meters exposure in multiple areas of the frame with emphasis on the bright areas.

• When [Link AE and AF Point] is set to [On] in the A2 menu, the metering point and the AF point can
