Les enceintes objets de la présente notice intègrent

un tweeter à dôme inversé en Béryllium pur, capable

d’étendre la bande passante à 40 kHz.

Du fait de la dangerosité potentielle du Béryllium,

matériau constituant le tweeter, certaines précautions

d’emploi doivent être respectées par l’utilisateur des

enceintes afin d’éviter tout risque d’absorption du dit

matériau tel que décrit ci-dessous.

Toutefois, sous sa forme solide et selon l’état des

connaissances à la date d’édition de la présente notice,

les risques sont limités, sachant que la dangerosité

du produit est principalement liée à son inhalation,

absorption ou contact sous forme de vapeurs ou de

microparticules.

2. Précautions d’emploi

Il convient de respecter scrupuleusement les précau-

tions d’emploi suivantes.

2.2. Le dôme Béryllium ne doit jamais être au contact

d’une matière abrasive

À température ambiante, le Béryllium est un produit

stable ; il réagit néanmoins avec les acides sulfurique,

chlorhydrique, fluorhydrique avec dégagement

d’hydrogène.

Conditions à éviter : températures élevées, étincelles,

flammes nues ou toute autre source d’allumage. Le

Béryllium est incompatible avec les agents oxydants,

et également notamment la pentafluorure de brome et

l’acide performique. Il explose lorsqu’il est chauffé avec

du magnésium.

Sous sa forme finement divisée, le Béryllium est un

produit modérément inflammable. Dans un espace

confiné, un nuage de poussières du métal peut exploser

en présence d’une source d’ignition. En cas d’incendie,

le Béryllium émet de la fumée et des vapeurs hautement

toxiques.

En cas d’incendie, les agents d’extinction préconisés

sont les poudres spéciales pour feux de métaux ou,

à défaut, d’autres poudres inertes. Il est également

conseillé de porter une protection individuelle

adéquate pour empêcher le contact avec la substance

ou ses produits de combustion ainsi qu’un respirateur

autonome intégral avec détendeur ou sous pression.

2.3. De manière générale, il faut éviter tout contact

avec la peau ou les yeux, toute inhalation ou toute

ingestion de tout ou partie du dôme Béryllium. Le

fabricant souligne que l’absorption du Béryllium par

voie respiratoire, cutanée ou digestive peut entraîner

des troubles physiques graves.

3. Consignes en cas de déterioration du dôme

Si le dôme Béryllium est endommagé sous quelque

forme que ce soit, il convient de le recouvrir dès que

possible. Nous vous recommandons alors de prendre

contact avec le revendeur afin de démonter et de

remplacer le tweeter auprès d’un service compétent

chez le distributeur.

Si le dôme est brisé, les particules éventuelles de

Béryllium doivent être récupérées avec soin, puis

elles doivent être placées dans un sac plastique

hermétiquement clos. Il sera renvoyé en même temps

que l’enceinte chez le revendeur.

2.1 Les tweeters contenant un dôme Béryllium sont à

manipuler avec précaution.

Les utilisateurs des enceintes doivent en particulier

veiller strictement au maintien de la grille ou de tout

élément de protection sur le tweeter et ne sortir en

aucun cas le Béryllium de son emplacement d’origine.

De manière générale, les enceintes doivent être tenues

hors de la portee des enfants et plus spécialement

l’accès au tweeter et au dôme Béryllium.

4. Premiers gestes

En cas d’inhalation : en cas d’inhalation de fumées

ou de poussières de Béryllium, amener la personne

à l’extérieur ou dans un endroit aéré et la placer

en position semi-assise afin qu’elle puisse respirer

confortablement. Si elle ne respire pas, lui donner la

respiration artificielle. En cas de difficultés respiratoires,

lui donner de l’oxygène. La transférer immédiatement

au service médical d’urgence le plus proche ou appeler

un centre antipoison.

En cas de contact avec les yeux : rincer immédiatement

et abondamment les yeux avec de l’eau pendant 15

minutes ou jusqu’à ce que le produit soit éliminé.

Enlever les lentilles de contact si la personne concernée

en porte et qu’elles peuvent être enlevées facilement. Il

est recommandé de consulter un médecin.

En cas de contact avec la peau : retirer rapidement

les vêtements et chaussures contaminés ; jeter les

vêtements et les chaussures. Laver la peau avec de l’eau

et du savon pendant au moins 15 minutes. Nettoyer

rapidement et consciencieusement les coupures et

les blessures. Toute particule de Béryllium qui se

loge accidentellement sous la peau doit être enlevée.

Consulter un médecin.

En cas d’ingestion : si la victime est consciente, lui

rincer la bouche avec de l’eau et lui faire boire quelques

verres d’eau pour diluer. Obtenir immédiatement de

l’aide médicale. Ne jamais donner de liquide à une

personne inconsciente ou convulsive. Le vomissement

ne doit être provoqué que sur l’ordre d’un médecin

ou d’un centre antipoison. Consulter rapidement un

médecin.

5. Fin de vie des enceintes

Votre produit Focal-JMlab a été conçu et fabriqué

avec des matériaux et composants de haute qualité

susceptibles d’être recyclés et réutilisés.

Ce symbole signifie que les appareils électriques

et électroniques, lorsqu’ils sont arrivés en fin

de vie, doivent être éliminés séparément des

ordures ménagères.

Cet appareil ne doit pas être jeté dans la nature ni

éliminé avec les déchets ménagers. Veuillez le rapporter

à la déchetterie ou dans un centre de recyclage.

Precautions of use

DANGER

FOCAL JMLab, a stock company incorporated under

the laws of France and registered with the trade and

companies registered of Saint-Etienne under number

344 394 309 000 35, having its registered office at 108

The speakers concerned by this manual use a pure

Beryllium inverted dome tweeter system, capable to

extend the bandwidth up to 40Khz.

Regarding the potential hazardousness of Beryllium, a

raw material constituting the tweeter, some instructions

(defined hereunder) must be respected by the user of

these speakers in order to prevent any risk of absorption

of said material.

Nevertheless, in solid form and based on the current

state of knowledge at the date of printing of this

precautionary manual, the risks are limited, being

specified that the hazardousness of the Beryllium

mainly results from its inhalation, ingestion or contact

in vapour form or microparticles.

2. Precautions of use

It is essential to scrupulously respect the following

precautionary measures.

2.2. The Beryllium dome should never be in contact

with abrasive material

Beryllium is a stable product at room temperature.

Nevertheless, it reacts with the following acids:

sulphuric, hydrochloric, and hydrofluoric (with

hydrogen release).

Conditions to avoid: heat, sparks, open flame, or any

other sources of ignition. Beryllium is incompatible

with oxidizing agents, and also notably bromine

pentafluoride and performic acids. It explodes when

heated with magnesium.

In finely divided form, Beryllium is a moderately

flammable product. In a contained space, dust cloud of

the metal may explode in the presence of a source of

ignition. In case of fire, Beryllium releases highly toxic

smoke and vapour.

In case of fire, the recommended fire extinguishing

agents are engineered powders for combustible

metals or, failing that, other inert powders. It is also

recommended to wear adequate personal protective

equipment to prevent contact with the substance or

its products of combustion as well as full selfcontained

breathing apparatus.

2.3. Generally, prevent skin or eye contact, ingestion

or inhalation of all or part of the Beryllium dome. The

manufacturer underlines the fact that its absorption by

inhalation, dermal route or ingestion can cause severe

physical afflictions.

3. In the event of damage to the dome

In the case that the Beryllium dome is damaged in

whatever form, its whole surface should be covered

over. In such case, it is recommended to contact your

retailer in order to dismantle and replace the tweeter by

the relevant department of the distributor.

If the dome is broken, particles of Beryllium must be

carefully recovered and placed in a sealed plastic bag.

It should be returned to the retailer at the same time

as the speakers.

2.1. Tweeters including a Beryllium dome should be

handled with caution.

As a consequence, the users of the speakers have in

particular to strictly ensure that the protective grille

and all protective means on the tweeter is well

maintained and in no circumstance take the Beryllium

from its original location.

Generally, the speakers should be kept out of the

reach of children, especially the access of the

tweeters and the dome of Beryllium.

4. First aid

If inhaled: in case of inhalation of smoke or dust of

Beryllium, bring the person outside or to a ventilated

area and put the body into a half-sitting position so that

the person can breathe comfortably. If not breathing,

give artificial respiration. Take the person to the nearest

medical emergency treatment centre or call a poison

control centre.

In case of contact with eyes: flush immediately and

bathe the eyes with water for 15 minutes or until removal

of the product. Remove contact lenses if present and if

it is easy to remove them. It is recommended to see

a doctor.

In case of contact with skin: immediatly remove

contaminated clothing and shoes. Throw away clothing

and shoes. Wash the skin with soap and water for at

least 15 minutes. Immediately and carefully clean the

cuts and wounds. Any particles of Beryllium which stick

under the skin must be removed. See a doctor.

If swallowed: if victim is conscious and alert, rinse

mouth with water and give some water to dilute. Seek

immediate medical assistance. Never give any liquid

if the victim is unconscious or convulsing. Vomiting

should only be provoked by a doctor or poison control

centre’s order. See a doctor immediatly.

5. End of life of the speakers

Your product Focal-JMlab was designed and made with

materials and components of high quality susceptible to

be recycled and reused.

This symbol means that any electric or electronic

devices should be disposed of separately to household

waste.

This device shall not be throw in the nature nor

eliminated with household waste. This product

should not be disposed of an where other than

the municipal waste reception centre or to a

centre of recycling.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ IMPORTANTES

1) LIRE ces instructions.

5) Afin d’éviter des dommages auditifs éventuels, ne pas écouter à un

niveau sonore élevé pendant une longue durée.

L’écoute d’un baladeur musical à forte puissance peut endommager

l’oreille de l’utilisateur et entraîner des troubles auditifs (surdité

temporaire ou définitive, bourdonnements d’oreille, acouphènes,

hyperacousie).

Il est donc vivement recommandé de ne pas utiliser le baladeur à plein

volume ni plus d’une heure par jour à volume moyen.

N’utilisez pas le casque de manière continue, faites des pauses. Soyez

particulièrement vigilant à l’égard des enfants et adolescents qui

utilisent ces appareils de plus en plus jeunes et souvent à puissance

excessive.

6) En cas d’apparition de bourdonnements ou de sifflements

(acouphènes) dans les oreilles, de baisse d’audition ou de sensation de

«coton», cessez immédiatement l’écoute du casque. Si les symptômes

persistent au bout de quelques heures, consultez immédiatement un

médecin spécialiste (ORL). Dans certains cas, un traitement immédiat

peut éviter des troubles irréversibles.

L’exposition des oreilles à un volume excessif (supérieur à 85 dB)

pendant plus d’une heure peut endommager l’ouïe irréversiblement.

7) Mettez le volume de l’appareil d’écoute au minimum

avant d’y raccorder le casque FOCAL et d’augmenter

le volume. Une fois le casque en place, augmentez

progressivement le volume jusqu’à un niveau raisonnable et

agréable. Toujours utiliser le casque avec les coussinets ou

embouts de protection.

8) Ne conduisez JAMAIS un véhicule à moteur (voiture, moto, bateau…)

ou un vélo avec le casque sur les oreilles. Toute utilisation dans ces

circonstances est dangereuse mais aussi illégale. Dans certains pays,

le code de la route local peut prévoir des contraventions lorsque la

vigilance du conducteur (donc la perception du risque) est diminuée

de quelque manière que ce soit.

Il est déconseillé d’utiliser le casque pour faire du vélo, courir, marcher

ou pratiquer toute autre activité dans des endroits très fréquentés. Si

vous utilisez le casque dans ces circonstances, réglez le volume à un

niveau réduit afin de pouvoir entendre les bruits ambiants, y compris

les klaxons, alarmes et signaux d’avertissement.

De manière générale, la réduction de la possibilité d’entendre les bruits

ambiants constitue un risque pour vous-même et votre entourage.

9) N’utilisez JAMAIS le casque en guise de protection anti-bruit.

10) Si vous ressentez de la chaleur ou une perte de signal audio, retirez

et déconnectez le casque immédiatement.

11) Ne pas installer l’appareil à proximité d’une source de chaleur tel

qu’un radiateur, une cuisinière, une bouche de chauffage ou tout autre

appareil (y compris les amplificateurs) dissipant de la chaleur.

12) Ne laissez pas votre casque exposé à l’humidité et ne le plongez

pas dans l’eau.

13) Le casque audio ne nécessite pas de nettoyage spécifique. Si

besoin est, utilisez un chiffon sec et doux. N’utilisez pas de produits de

nettoyage contenant des solvants.

14) Confiez toute réparation ou manutention à un personnel qualifié.

Réparation et manutention sont nécessaires en cas de dommage, quel

qu’il soit (renversement de liquide, cordon abîmé, exposition à la pluie,

chute de l’appareil, etc.).

15) Raccorder ce produit uniquement à des appareils avec sortie

casque. En cas d’hésitation sur le type d’appareil, consulter le vendeur

de votre produit.

16) Utilisez uniquement les accessoires recommandés par le fabricant.

17) N’obstruer aucun orifice. N’insérer jamais d’objets par les trous.

18) Ne pas tenter de réparer cet appareil par vos propres moyens. Pour

toute intervention de maintenance, s’adresser à un personnel qualifié.

19) Ne pas utiliser cet appareil dans des climats tropicaux.

20) Si l’appareil a été transporté d’un environnement froid à un

environnement chaud, s’assurer qu’aucun phénomène de condensation

ne s’est produit avant de connecter le cordon.

N’apportez pas de modification au système ou à ses accessoires.

Toute modification non autorisée peut compromettre votre sécurité, le

respect des réglementations et les performances de l’appareil.

Branchement du casque

Chaque extrémité des câbles possède un indicateur: "L"

pour gauche et "R" pour droite (fig. 1), veillez à bien le

respecter lorsque vous branchez le câble aux entrées

"L" et "R" indiquées sous les oreillettes à côté des

connecteurs (fig. 2).

Rangement

Vous pouvez ranger le casque dans la valise de transport.

Il vous suffira de déconnecter le câble et le ranger dans

la valise, dans l’emplacement prévu à cet effet (fig. 3).

Soin et entretien

Il est préférable de nettoyer régulièrement votre casque

pour éviter tout risque d’usure. Pour cela, nous vous

recommandons d’utiliser un chiffon propre, sec et

non pelucheux. Il peut arriver, après de nombreuses

utilisations, que les coussinets montrent des marques

d’usure. Dans ce cas, si vous le désirez, il est possible de

les remplacer. Rapprochez-vous de votre revendeur afin

de vous en procurer des nouveaux. Il vous suffit ensuite

de déclipser la paire usagée en tirant doucement et

de repositionner la nouvelle paire sur les oreillettes, en

vérifiant que les 5 picots soient bien fixés (fig. 4).

Conditions de garantie

La garantie pour la France sur tout matériel Focal est de

2 ans. En cas de matériel défectueux, celui-ci doit être

expédié à vos frais, dans son emballage d’origine auprès

du revendeur, lequel analysera le matériel et déterminera

la nature de la panne. Si celui-ci est sous garantie, le

matériel sera réparé ou remplacé et vous sera rendu.

Dans le cas contraire, un devis de réparation vous sera

proposé. La garantie ne couvre pas les dommages

résultant d’une mauvaise utilisation ou d’un branchement

incorrect (bobines mobiles brûlées par exemple...). En

dehors de la France, le matériel Focal est couvert par une

garantie dont les conditions sont fixées localement par

le distributeur officiel Focal de chaque pays, en accord

avec les lois en vigueur sur le territoire concerné.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE

• Ce casque a besoin d’une période de rodage afin d’offrir toutes

ses performances.

• Ce rodage se réalisera naturellement après plusieurs heures

d’écoute. Si vous souhaitiez accélérer le processus, nous vous

conseillons de le faire jouer au moins pendant 24 heures à un

niveau sonore relativement élevé, sur des morceaux riches en

basses fréquences.

• Ainsi, les haut-parleurs seront stabilisés et vous pourrez profiter

pleinement de votre casque.

We recommend thoroughly reading all the instructions in this manual,

and that you keep it somewhere safe for future reference.

IMPORTANT SAFETY PRECAUTIONS

1) READ these instructions.

2) KEEP these instructions.

4) FOLLOW all the instructions.

5) In order to avoid damaging your hearing, do not listen to headphones

at high volumes for extended periods of time.

Listening to a portable stereo at high volumes can cause damage to the

user’s ears and may lead to hearing problems (temporary or permanent

deafness, buzzing in the ears, tinnitus, hyperacusis).

It is strongly advised not to listen to a portable stereo at full volume or

for more than one hour per day at an average volume.

Don’t use the headphones continuously, take frequent breaks. Pay

particular attention to children and teenagers who use these devices at

a younger age and often at excessive volume.

6) If you begin to hear buzzing or ringing in the ears (tinnitus),

experience a loss of hearing or ‘muffled’ hearing, stop using the

headphones immediately. If the symptoms continue after a few

hours, consult an ENT doctor immediately. In some cases, immediate

treatment may avoid permanent hearing problems.

Exposure to excessive volumes (over 85dB) for more than one hour can

cause irreparable damage to your hearing.

7) Set the volume to minimum before connecting your

Focal headphones, then turn up the volume. Once the

headphones are in place, gradually increase the volume

to a comfortable and reasonable level. Always use the

headphones with the protective ear cushions or tips.

8) NEVER drive a vehicle (car, motorbike, boat...) or ride a bike while

wearing the headphones. Not only is this behaviour dangerous, it is

also illegal. In some countries, a breach of the highway code for driving

without due care and attention (if the driver’s concentration is reduced

in any way) may result in a penalty.

We advise against wearing the headphones while riding a bike, running,

walking or carrying out any other activities in busy places. If you do

wear the headphones in such places,set to a low volume so you can

hear surrounding noises, including horns, alarms and warning signals.

Generally speaking, reducing your chances of hearing surrounding

noises poses a threat to yourself and to others.

9) NEVER use the headphones as ear defenders.

10) If you feel the headphones heat up or if there is a loss of the audio

signal, remove the headphones and disconnect immediately.

11) Do not install the device close to a heat source such as a radiator,

cooker, heat vent or any other appliance (including amplifiers) that

gives out heat.

12) Never leave your headphones exposed to humidity and never

submerge them in water.

13) The headphones do not require any particular cleaning. If necessary,

clean with a dry, soft duster. Do not use cleaning products containing

solvents.

14) Entrust any repairs or maintenance to a qualified professional.

Repair or maintenance may be required in case of any kind of damage

(spillages, damaged cable, exposure to rain, if the device is dropped

etc.).

15) Only connect this product to devices with a headphone output. If

you are not sure about the type of device, ask your retailer.

16) Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer.

17) Do not obstruct any openings. Never insert any objects into the

openings.

18) Do not attempt to repair this device yourself. Contact a qualified

professional for all maintenance work.

19) Do not use this device in tropical climates.

20) If the device has been transported from a cold environment to

Connecting the headphones

Each end of the cables is labelled with either an "L" for

left, or an "R" for right (fig.1). Make sure you connect

each end of the cable to the correct headphone inputs

which are also labelled "L" and “R” below the ear cups,

next to the connectors (fig. 2).

Storage

You can store the headphones in the carrying case. You

just need to disconnect the headphones and place them

in the case, in the space provided (fig. 3).

Caring for your headphones

It is advisable to clean your headphones regularly to

limit wear and tear. We recommend using a clean, dry,

lint-free cloth for this. After a lot of use, you may notice

wear marks on the ear cushions. In this case, you can

replace the ear cushions if you wish. Ask your local

Focal retailer for replacement parts. Carefully remove

the worn cushions from your headphone earcups and

clip in the new ear pads, checking that the 5 pins are

in place (fig. 4).

Conditions of warranty

All Focal products are covered by warranty drawn

up by the official Focal distributor in your country.

Your distributor can provide all details concerning the

conditions of warranty. Warranty cover extends at least

to that granted by the legal warranty in force in the

country where the original purchase invoice was issued.

operate at their best.

• They will run themselves in naturally after several hours of

6) Falls Klingel- oder Pfeifgeräusche (Tinnitus) in den Ohren auftritt, die

Hörfähigkeit abnimmt oder sich ein Gefühl von „Watte in den Ohren“ einstellt,

hören Sie sofort auf, die Kopfhörer zu verwenden. Wenn die Symptome

mehrere Stunden anhalten, kontaktieren Sie bitte umgehend einen Facharzt

(HNO-Arzt). In manchen Fällen kann eine sofortige Behandlung dauerhafte

Schäden verhindern.

Werden die Ohren länger als eine Stunde mit hoher Lautstärke (über 85 dB)

beschallt, kann das Gehör dadurch irreversibel geschädigt werden.

7) Stellen Sie die Lautstärke des Wiedergabegeräts auf die

niedrigste Stufe, bevor Sie den FOCAL Kopfhörer anschließen

und die Lautstärke wieder erhöhen. Sobald Sie den Kopfhörer

aufgesetzt haben, können Sie die Lautstärke schrittweise auf eine

vernünftige und angenehme Stufe erhöhen. Verwenden Sie den

Kopfhörer immer mit Schutzpads (Ohrpolster) oder Ohradaptern.

8) Verwenden Sie die Kopfhörer NIEMALS während Sie ein motorisiertes

Fahrzeug steuern (Auto, Motorrad, Schiff etc.) oder ein Fahrrad lenken.

Jeder Gebrauch unter diesen Bedingungen ist einerseits äußerst gefährlich

und andererseits gesetzeswidrig. In manchen Ländern sieht die lokale

Straßenverkehrsordnung Geldbußen vor, wenn die Aufmerksamkeit (und

damit auch die Risikowahrnehmung) des Fahrers in irgendeiner Weise

beeinträchtigt ist.

Wir raten außerdem davon ab, den Kopfhörer beim Fahrradfahren, Laufen,

Gehen oder anderen Aktivitäten an stark frequentierten Orten zu verwenden.

Falls Sie die Kopfhörer unter solchen Bedingungen verwenden, stellen Sie

die Lautstärke auf eine niedrige Stufe, so dass sie die Umgebungsgeräusche

(Hupen, Alarme und Warnsignale) hören können.

9) Verwenden Sie den Kopfhörer NIEMALS als Lärmschutz.

Anschließen des Kopfhörer-Sets

Jedes Kabelende ist mit einer Anzeige ausgestattet:

"L" für links und "R" für rechts (Abb. 1); Achten Sie

beim Anschluss des Kabels auf die Eingänge "L" und

"R" unter den Hörmuscheln neben den Anschlüssen

(Abb. 2).

Aufbewahrung

Sie können das Kopfhörer-Set im Transportkoffer

aufbewahren. Sie müssen nur das Kabel abziehen und

das Set im Transportkoffer an der dafür vorgesehenen

Position verstauen (Abb. 3).

Pflege und Wartung

Am besten ist es, das Kopfhörer-Set regelmäßig zu

reinigen, um jegliche Verschleißgefahr zu vermeiden.

Hierfür empfehlen wir die Verwendung eines sauberen,

trockenen, fusselfreien Tuches. Nach zahlreichen

Einsätzen kann es zu Verschleissspuren auf den

Pads kommen. In diesem Fall ist es möglich, diese

auszutauschen, wenn Sie dies wünschen. Wenden

Sie sich an Ihren Händler, damit er Ihnen neue Pads

zur Verfügung stellt. Sie müssen nur das verwendete

Paar vorsichtig von den Hörmuscheln abziehen und

das neue Paar auf diesen neu positionieren, wobei Sie

sicherzustellen, dass die 5 Stifte fest sitzen (Abb. 4).

L’ascolto di un lettore di musica a forte potenza può danneggiare

Non usare le cuffie in modo continuo, fare delle pause. Siate

particolarmente vigili nei confronti di bambini e adolescenti che usano

questi dispositivi, sempre più giovani, e spesso a volume eccessivo.

6) In caso di comparsa di ronzio o fischio nelle orecchie (acufene), calo

dell’udito o sensazione di «cotone», interrompere immediatamente

l’ascolto con le cuffie. Se i sintomi persistono dopo qualche ora,

consultare un medico specialista (otorino). In alcuni casi, un

trattamento immediato può evitare disturbi irreversibili.

L’esposizione delle orecchie a volume eccessivo (superiore a 85 dB),

per più di un’ora, può danneggiare irreversibilmente l’udito.

7) Mettere il volume dell’apparecchio al minimo prima

collegare le cuffie FOCAL e aumentare il volume. Una volta

messe le cuffie, aumentare gradualmente il volume ad un

livello ragionevole e piacevole. Usare sempre le cuffie con i

cuscinetti o con i gommini di protezione.

8) Non guidare MAI un veicolo a motore (auto, moto, barca...) o una

bicicletta con le cuffie sulle orecchie. Qualsiasi uso in queste circostanze

è pericoloso, ma anche illegale. In alcuni paesi, il codice locale della

strada può causare ammende quando la vigilanza del conducente

(quindi la percezione del rischio) è in qualsiasi modo diminuita.

Si sconsiglia di utilizzare le cuffie mentre si utilizza la bici, si corre, si

cammina, o durante qualsiasi altra attività in luoghi molto frequentati.

Se si utilizzano le cuffie in queste circostanze, è possibile regolare il

volume ad un livello ridotto al fine di essere in grado di sentire i rumori

ambientali, tra cui i clacson, gli allarmi ed i segnali di avvertimento.

In generale, ridurre la possibilità di ascoltare il rumore ambientale porta

ad un rischio per se stessi e per le persone che vi stanno intorno.

9) Non usare MAI le cuffie come protezione contro il rumore.

10) Se sentite calore o constatate la perdita di segnale audio, rimuovere

e scollegare le cuffie immediatamente.

11) Non installare il prodotto vicino a una fonte di calore, come radiatori,

Connessione delle cuffie

Ogni estremità dei cavi è dotata di un indicatore:

“L” per sinistra e “R” per destra (fig. 1), assicurarsi di

rispettare queste indicazioni quando si collega il cavo

alle entrate “L” e “R” indicate sotto le cuffie accanto ai

connettori (fig. 2).

Stoccaggio

È possibile riporre le cuffie nella valigetta per il

trasporto. Basta scollegare il cavo e riporle nella

custodia, nell’apposita sede (fig. 3).

Cura e manutenzione

Per evitare ogni eventuale rischio di usura, è preferibile

pulire le cuffie con regolarità. A questo scopo, si

consiglia di usare un panno pulito, asciutto e con una

fibra non pelosa. Dopo svariati utilizzi, i cuscinetti

potrebbero mostrare qualche segno di usura. In

questo caso, se si desidera, è possibile sostituirli. Per

procurarsi dei cuscinetti nuovi, rivolgersi al proprio

rivenditore. Basta rimuovere i due cuscinetti usurati

tirandoli delicatamente e posizionare quelli nuovi

sulle cuffie, verificando che i 5 perni siano ben fissati

(fig. 4).

5) Con el fin de evitar eventuales daños auditivos, no escuchar a un

nivel sonoro elevado de forma prolongada.

La escucha de un reproductor de música de potencia elevada puede

dañar el oído del usuario y entrañar problemas auditivos (sordera

temporal o definitiva, zumbidos en el oído, acúfenos, hiperacusia).

Por ello, se aconseja encarecidamente no utilizar el reproductor a

volumen máximo ni durante más de una hora al día a volumen medio.

No utilice el casco de forma continuada; realice pausas. Sea

especialmente cuidadoso en lo relativo a niños y adolescentes, que

utilizan estos dispositivos cada vez a más temprana edad y con

frecuencia a potencias excesivas.

6) En caso de aparición de zumbidos o pitidos (acúfenos) en los oídos,

baja audición o sensación de «algodón», interrumpa de inmediato la

escucha del casco. Si los síntomas persisten al cabo de unas horas,

consulte inmediatamente a un médico especialista (ORL). En algunos

casos, un tratamiento inmediato puede evitar problemas irreversibles.

La exposición de los oídos a un volumen excesivo (superior a 85 dB)

durante más de una hora puede dañar la audición de forma irreversible.

7) Ponga el volumen del dispositivo de escucha al

mínimo antes de conectarlo al casco FOCAL y de subir

el volumen. Una vez situado el casco en su sitio, aumente

progresivamente el volumen hasta un nivel razonable y

agradable. Utilice el casco siempre con las almohadillas u

olivas de protección.

8) No conduzca JAMÁS un vehículo de motor (coche, moto, barco…)

o una bicicleta con el casco en las orejas. Cualquier uso en tales

circunstancias es peligroso, además de ilegal. En algunos países, el

código de circulación puede prever multas si la vigilancia del conductor

(y por ello, la percepción del riesgo) disminuye en cualquier forma.

Se desaconseja utilizar el casco para ir en bicicleta, correr, caminar

o practicar cualquier otra actividad en lugares muy frecuentados. Si

utiliza el casco en tales circunstancias, ajuste el volumen a un nivel

reducido para poder escuchar el ruido ambiente, incluyendo claxon,

alarmas y señales de advertencia.

De forma general, la reducción de la posibilidad de escucha del ruido

ambiente constituye un riesgo para usted mismo y para su entorno.

9) No utilice JAMÁS el casco como protección anti-ruido.

10) Si experimenta calor o pérdida de señal auditiva, retire y desconecte

el casco, inmediatamente.

11) No instale el aparato a proximidad de fuentes de calor, como

radiadores, fogones, salidas de aire caliente o cualquier otro aparato de

Conexión de los auriculares

Los cables tienen un indicador en cada extremo: "L"

para izquierda y "R" para derecha (fig. 1), respete estas

indicaciones cuando conecte el cable a las entradas

identificadas como "L" y "R" bajo los auriculares, al lado

de los conectores (fig. 2).

Almacenamiento

Puede almacenar sus auriculares en el maletín de

transporte. Para ello, solo necesita desconectar el

cable y guardarlo en el maletín, en el compartimento

destinado para ello (fig. 3).

Cuidados y limpieza

Es conveniente que limpie con regularidad sus

auriculares para evitar el desgaste. Para ello, le

recomendamos utilizar un paño limpio, seco y sin

pelusas. Es posible que, después de numerosas

utilizaciones, las almohadillas muestren señales de

desgaste. En ese caso, puede reemplazarlas si lo desea.

Póngase en contacto con su distribuidor para conseguir

unas nuevas. Después, solo tiene que desacoplar las

almohadillas desgastadas tirando suavemente y acoplar

las nuevas sobre los auriculares, verificando que los 5

pitones estén bien encajados (fig. 4).

Condiciones de garantía

Escutar um leitor de música em alta potência pode danificar os

ouvidos do usuário e causar problemas auditivos (surdez temporária

ou permanente, zumbidos nos ouvidos, acufenos, hiperacusia).

Portanto, é altamente recomendável não utilizar o leitor em volume

máximo, nem por mais de uma hora por dia em volume médio.

Não use os fones de ouvido continuamente, faça pausas. Mantenha

vigilância especial com relação às crianças e adolescentes que usam

estes dispositivos cada vez mais jovens e muitas vezes em potência

excessiva.

6) Em caso de ocorrência de zumbidos ou assobios (acufenos) em

seus ouvidos, diminuição da audição ou sensação de «algodão» nos

ouvidos, retire imediatamente os fones de ouvido. Se os sintomas

persistirem após algumas horas, consulte imediatamente um médico

especialista (ORL). Em alguns casos, um tratamento imediato pode

evitar problemas irreversíveis.

A exposição dos ouvidos a um volume excessivo (superior a 85 dB) por

mais de uma hora pode danificar a audição irreversivelmente.

7) Defina o volume do aparelho de escuta para o mínimo

antes de conectar os fones de ouvido FOCAL e de

aumentar o volume. Quando os fones estão colocados,

aumente gradualmente o volume para um nível razoável e

agradável. Sempre use os fones de ouvido com as pontas

ou borrachas de proteção.

8) NUNCA conduza um veículo motorizado (carro, motocicleta,

barco...) ou uma bicicleta com os fones de ouvido colocados. Qualquer

utilização nessas circunstâncias é perigosa e também é ilegal. Em

alguns países, o código da estrada local pode prever contravenções

penais quando a vigilância do condutor (ou seja, a percepção do risco)

é diminuída de qualquer forma que seja.

Não é aconselhável usar os fones de ouvido para andar de bicicleta,

correr, caminhar ou praticar qualquer outra atividade em lugares muito

frequentados. Se você usar os fones de ouvido nessas circunstâncias,

ajuste o volume para um nível reduzido a fim de poder ouvir os sons

ambientes, incluindo buzinas, alarmes e sinais de alerta.

De maneira geral, a redução da capacidade de ouvir os ruídos

ambientes constitui um risco para você e para os outros em seu redor.

9) NUNCA utilize os fones de ouvido como proteção antirruído.

Ligação dos auscultadores

Ambas as extremidades dos cabos possuem um

indicador: "L" para esquerda e "R" para direita (fig. 1).

Certifique-se de que liga o cabo nas entradas "L" e

"R" indicadas por baixo dos auriculares ao lado dos

conectores (fig. 2).

Arrumação

Pode arrumar os auscultadores na mala de transporte.

Basta desligar o cabo e arrumá-lo na mala, no espaço

previsto para o efeito (fig. 3).

Cuidados e manutenção

É preferível limpar regularmente os auscultadores para

evitar o desgaste. Pata tal, recomendamos a utilização

de um pano limpo, seco e sem pelos. Após muitas

utilizações, as almofadas podem apresentar sinais de

desgaste. Nesse caso, e se desejar, pode substituí-las.

Contacte o revendedor para obter umas novas.

Depois, basta puxar cuidadosamente o par usado para o

retirar e colocar o novo par nos auriculares, verificando

se os 5 pontos estão fixados corretamente (fig. 4).

BELANGRIJKE VEILIGHEIDSVOORSCHRIFTEN

5) Om eventuele gehoorschade te voorkomen, mag u nooit langdurig

luisteren bij een hoog volume.

Luisteren naar een walkman bij een hoog volume kan het oor van de

gebruiker beschadigen en resulteren in gehoorstoornissen (tijdelijke of

definitieve doofheid, tinnitus, oorsuizingen, hardhorendheid).

Het wordt dus sterk aanbevolen de walkman niet te gebruiken bij

het hoogste volumeniveau, noch meer dan één uur per dag bij een

gemiddeld volumeniveau.

Gebruik de hoofdtelefoon niet voortdurend, neem pauzes. U moet

bijzonder opletten met kinderen en jongeren die deze apparaten steeds

jonger beginnen te gebruiken en vaak bij een te hoog vermogen.

6) Als tinnitus of suizingen optreden in de oren, als men minder goed

hoort of als men het gevoel heeft van «katoen» in de oren te hebben,

moet u onmiddellijk stoppen met luisteren via de hoofdtelefoon. Als

symptomen na een paar uur nog steeds aanhouden, moet u onmiddellijk

een gespecialiseerde arts (KNO) raadplegen. In bepaalde situaties kan

een onmiddellijke behandeling onomkeerbare problemen voorkomen.

De blootstelling van de oren aan een hoog volume (hoger dan

85 dB) gedurende meer dan één uur kan het gehoor onherroepelijk

beschadigen.

7) Schakel het volume van het apparaat op het

minimumniveau voor u de FOCAL hoofdtelefoon verbindt

en het volume verhoogt. Wanneer de hoofdtelefoon is

aangebracht, kunt u het volume geleidelijk verhogen tot een

redelijk een aangenaam niveau. Gebruik de hoofdtelefoon

altijd met de oorkussens en -dopjes.

8) U mag NOOIT een voertuig (wagen, motor, boot enz.) besturen of

met de fiets rijden terwijl u muziek beluistert via een hoofdtelefoon.

Elk gebruik in deze omstandigheden is gevaarlijk maar ook illegaal. In

sommige landen kan de verkeerswetgeving bekeuringen voorzien als de

waakzaamheid van de bestuurder (m.a.w. de risicoperceptie) verminderd

wordt op welke wijze dan ook.

Het wordt dus afgeraden de hoofdtelefoon te gebruiken als u met de

fiets rijdt, rent, wandelt of een andere activiteit uitvoert in druk bezochte

plaatsen. Als u de hoofdtelefoon gebruikt in deze omstandigheden moet

u het volume op een lager niveau afstellen zodat u het geluid uit uw

omgeving kunt horen, inclusief claxons, alarmen en waarschuwingen.

Het verminderen van de mogelijkheid de geluiden in uw omgeving te

horen houdt dus algemeen een risico in voor u en uw omgeving.

9) Gebruik de hoofdtelefoon NOOIT als bescherming tegen lawaai.

10) Als u warmte voelt of het geluidssignaal verliest, moet u de

hoofdtelefoon onmiddellijk verwijderen en loskoppelen.

11) Plaats het apparaat niet in de buurt van een warmtebron zoals een

verwarming, kookstel, andere warmtebron of ander apparaat (waaronder

versterkers) die warmte afgeven.

12) U mag uw hoofdtelefoon niet blootstellen aan vocht en u mag hem

niet onderdompelen in water.

13) De hoofdtelefoon vereist geen specifieke reiniging. Indien

noodzakelijk kunt u een droge en zachte doek gebruiken. Gebruik geen

reinigingsproducten die oplosmiddelen bevatten.

14) Alle reparaties en behandelingen moeten worden uitgevoerd door

goed opgeleid personeel. Reparaties en behandelingen zijn noodzakelijk

in het geval van schade, ongeacht de aard van de schade (morsen van

een vloeistof, netsnoer beschadigd, blootstelling aan regen, als het

apparaat valt enz.).

15) Sluit dit product alleen aan op apparaten met hoofdtelefoonuitgang.

16) Gebruik alleen de door de fabrikant aanbevolen accessoires.

17) Voorkom dat de openingen worden geblokkeerd. Steek nooit

Aansluiting van de hoofdtelefoon

Elk uiteinde van de kabels heeft een aanduiding: "L"

voor links en "R" voor rechts (fig. 1). Zorg ervoor dat

u het linker- en rechteruiteinde in de juiste ingangen

plaatst. Deze zijn eveneens aangeduid met "L" en "R"

onder de oortjes naast de connectoren (fig. 2).

Opbergen

U kunt de hoofdtelefoon opbergen in de transportdoos.

Hiervoor hoeft u slechts de kabel los te koppelen

en in de doos te plaatsen en de hoofdtelefoon in het

daarvoor bestemde vak op te bergen (fig. 3).

Onderhoud

Het wordt aanbevolen om uw hoofdtelefoon regelmatig

te reinigen om slijtage te voorkomen. We raden u aan

om hiervoor een schone, droge doek te gebruiken die

niet pluist. Het is mogelijk dat de kussentjes na veel

gebruik sporen van slijtage gaan vertonen. U kunt er

dan voor kiezen om ze te vervangen. Neem contact

op met uw reseller om nieuwe kussentjes te kopen. U

kunt het gebruikte paar verwijderen door er zacht aan

te trekken en het nieuwe paar op de oortjes plaatsen.

Zorg er hierbij voor dat de 5 pinnen goed zijn

aangesloten (fig. 4).

Garantievoorwaarden

Alle Focal-producten zijn gedekt door een garantie

die is bepaald door de officiële Focal-distributeur

in uw land. Uw distributeur kan alle details over de

garantievoorwaarden verstrekken. De garantie dekt ten

minste de juridisch bepaalde garanties die van kracht

Używanie odtwarzacza ustawionego na wysoki poziom głośności

może doprowadzić do uszkodzenia słuchu i wywołać jego zaburzenia

(głuchota przejściowa lub ostateczna, szum lub dzwonienie w uszach,

przeczulica słuchowa).

W związku z tym zdecydowanie zaleca się nie korzystać z odtwarzacza

przy pełnej głośności lub powyżej godziny dziennie przy średniej

głośności.

Nie używaj słuchawek w sposób ciągły – rób przerwy. Zachowaj

szczególną czujność w przypadku dzieci i młodzieży, które używają tych

urządzeń w coraz młodszym wieku i często z nadmierną głośnością.

6) W przypadku wystąpienia szumów lub dzwonienia w uszach, utraty

słuchu lub wrażenia waty w uszach natychmiast przerwij słuchanie w

słuchawkach. Jeśli po kilku godzinach objawy nie ustąpią, natychmiast

skonsultuj się z lekarzem specjalistą (laryngologiem). W niektórych

przypadkach natychmiastowe leczenie może zapobiec nieodwracalnym

zaburzeniom.

Narażenie słuchu na zbyt wysoki poziom głośności (powyżej 85 dB)

przez ponad godzinę może skutkować nieodwracalnym uszkodzeniem

słuchu.

7) Przed podłączeniem słuchawek FOCAL i zwiększeniem

głośności zmniejsz głośność odtwarzacza do minimum.

Po założeniu słuchawek stopniowo zwiększaj głośność

do rozsądnego i komfortowego poziomu. Zawsze używaj

słuchawek z poduszkami lub końcówkami ochronnymi.

8) NIGDY nie prowadź pojazdu silnikowego (samochodu, motocykla,

łodzi itp.) lub roweru ze słuchawkami na uszach. Korzystanie ze

słuchawek w takich okolicznościach jest nie tylko niebezpieczne, ale

także niezgodne z przepisami. W niektórych krajach kodeks drogowy

może przewidywać mandaty za ograniczanie czujności kierowcy (czyli

zdolności postrzegania ryzyka).

Nie zaleca się używania słuchawek podczas jazdy na rowerze, biegania,

chodzenia lub wykonywania jakichkolwiek innych czynności w miejscach

o dużym natężeniu ruchu. Jeśli używasz słuchawek w takich sytuacjach,

ustaw głośność na niski poziom, tak aby słyszeć dźwięki otoczenia, w

Podłączanie słuchawek

Na każdym końcu przewodów znajduje się oznaczenie:

„L” oznacza lewą słuchawkę, a „R” – prawą (rys. 1).

Upewnij się, że podłączasz każdy koniec przewodu

do prawidłowych wejść słuchawkowych, również

oznaczonych jako „L” i „R” na spodzie słuchawek obok

złączy (rys. 2).

Przechowywanie

Słuchawki można przechowywać w futerale. Wystarczy

podłączyć przewód i przechowywać go w odpowiedniej

komorze futerału (rys. 3).

Pielęgnacja i konserwacja

Zaleca się regularnie czyścić słuchawki, aby ograniczyć

ich zużycie. W tym celu zalecamy używanie czystej,

suchej, niestrzępiącej się szmatki. Po długotrwałym

użytkowaniu poduszkach słuchawek mogą być

widoczne ślady zużycia. Można wówczas wymienić

poduszki. Informacje na temat części zamiennych

można uzyskać u lokalnego sprzedawcy Focal. Poduszki

można łatwo odpiąć, pociągając za nie. Łatwo je

również zatrzasnąć z powrotem na miejscu – wystarczy

w tym celu wcisnąć je z powrotem w mocowania,

upewniając się, że 5 spinek jest umieszczonych we

właściwym położeniu (rys. 4).

• Заявленные технические характеристики наушников

достигаются по завершении периода приработки,

• который представляет собой стандартное использование

устройства в течение нескольких часов.

• Для ускорения периода приработки рекомендуется

использовать устройство не менее 24 часов подряд при

уровне громкости незначительно выше среднего. В период

приработки рекомендуется проигрывать композиции,

богатые низкими частотами.

• Это позволяет добиться стабилизации рабочих

характеристик излучателей и воспользоваться всеми

техническими возможностями наушников.

请勿连续使用耳机，应该偶尔休息一下。儿童和青少年使用这些

6) 如果发生嗡嗡声或嘶鸣声等耳鸣现象或有听力减退的情况或产

生“棉花”般的感觉，应立即停止使用耳机。如果症状持续几个

小时，应立即咨询专家（耳鼻喉医生）。在某些情况下，立即治

疗可以防止发生不可逆的疾病。

耳朵曝露于音量过大（大于85分贝）的环境下长达一个小时以

上，可能会造成听力永久损失。

7) 请先把听音设备的音量调到最低后再连接Focal耳

机，然后调高音量。戴上耳机后，逐渐调高音量至适

当且舒适的水平。始终使用带有耳罩或防护硅胶套的

耳机。

8) 戴着耳机时，切勿驾驶机动车（汽车、摩托车、船......）或自

行车。在这些情况下使用耳机不但危险，也是非法的。一些国

家的公路法规可能规定，当驾驶人的警觉性（即风险认知）降低

时，无论在任何情况下都可能处以罚金。

我们不建议您在骑自行车、跑步或行走在拥挤的地方时使用耳

机。如果您在这些情况下使用耳机，请降低耳机音量，让您能够

听到外界的环境噪声，包括喇叭、警报和预警信号。

在一般情况下，降低您听到环境噪音的能力会给您自己和周围环

境带来危险。

9) 切勿使用耳机作为噪声防护设备。

耳机的连接

电缆的每一端均带有指示标：“L”代表左侧，“R”代表右

侧（图1），请根据指示将电缆连接至耳机连接器下方标明

的“L”和“R”输入端（图2）。

收纳

您可以将耳机收纳在转运箱中。您只需断开电缆并按照下图指

示将其安放在转运箱中即可（图3）。

护理与保养

建议定期清洁耳机，以预防磨损风险。建议您使用干净、干燥

且无绒毛的布料进行清洁。多次使用之后，耳垫可能会出现磨

损迹象。这时，您可以根据意愿进行更换。请联络您的经销商

购买新的耳垫。您只需轻轻取下旧的耳垫并将新的一副安装在

耳杯上，确保5处针脚安装就位即可。（图4）

간 후에도 증상이 계속되면 즉시 이비인후과를 방문하십시오. 즉각적인 치료

가 영구적인 청력 손상을 예방할 수 있습니다.

상될 수 있습니다.

7) Focal 헤드폰을 연결하기 전에 볼륨을 최소로 설정한 후 볼

헤드폰 연결

각 케이블 끝에는 다음과 같은 표시가 되어 있습니다: 왼쪽을

합니다. 수 차례 사용 후에 패드가 낡을 수 있습니다. 이런 경

우 원하신다면 패드를 교체할 수 있습니다. 구입 매장에 방문

하셔서 새로운 패드로 교체하십시오. 부드럽게 마모된 패드를

잡아당겨 제거하고 5개의 핀이 잘 고정되도록 새로운 패드를

7) 音楽プレーヤーの音量を最小にしてから Focal 製ヘッドセット

ヘッドホンの接続

ケーブルの各先端に表示あり：コネクタ横のヘッドホンユニ

ット下に表示されている"L"と"R"(fig. 2)の入力口にケーブル

を差し込む際、左に"L"、右に"R"(fig. 1)の組み合わせを守っ

てください。

収納

ヘッドホンはキャリーケースに収納可能です。ケーブルを外

し、ケース内の専用スペースに収納します(fig. 3)。

ケアとメンテナンス

うお勧めします。その際清潔で乾燥した、毛足の長くない布

をご使用ください。ヘッドホンを頻繁にご使用いただいた後

には、イヤーパッドに摩耗が見られることもございます。そ

の際ご希望であれば、イヤーパッドを交換することも可能で

す。新しいものを入手するには、販売店までお問い合わせく

ださい。摩耗したイヤーパッドをそっと引き剥がし、5つの

突起がきちんと固定されているか確認しながら、新しいもの
