Enginesstoredover30daysneed to be drainedof fuel to prevent
deteriorationandgumfromforminginthe fuel systemor onessential
carburetorparts,if thegasolinein yourenginedeterioratesduring
storage,youmayneedto havethe carburetor,andotherfuel system
components,servicedor replaced.
1_ Removeall fuel fromthe tank by runningtheengineuntilit stops.
2_ Changethe engineoik
3_ Removethe sparkplug andpourapproximately1 oz.(30 ml)of
cleanengineoil intothe cylinder.Pullthe recoilstarterseveral
timesto distributethe oil,and reinstallthe sparkplug.
4_ Cleantheexteriorof the engineby discardingdirt anddebrisfrom
thefollowingareas:
