hob when pushing.
4. if the engineis warm,pushthe primerbuttononlyonce.
5. Graspthe recoilstarterhandleandslowlypullthe rope out.At
the pointwhereit becomesslightlyharderto pull the rope,slowly
allowthe rope to recoil.
6. Pullthe starterhandlewitha firm,rapidstroke.Do not release
the handleandallowit to snapback. Keepa firmhold on the
starterhandleand allowit to slowlyrecoil.
7. Allowthe engineto warm upseveralminutes,adjustingchoke

STOPPUNG THE ENGUNE
1. Runtheengine fora fewminutesbeforestoppingto helpdry off
any moistureonthe engine.
2. To stopthe engineremovethe keyand storeit ina safeplace.
3. Wipeall the snowand moistureawayfromthe enginecontrols
area.

burn. Becarefulanddo not touchwhentheyarehoL
ENGAGUNG THE AUGER
Engagethe augerby squeezingtheaugercontrolagainstthe upper
handle.Releasethe controlto stopthe auger.
ENGAGUNG THE DRUVE
Liftupslightlyonthe handleto allowthe rubber paddiesonthe auger
to contactthe pavementand propelthe snowthrowerforwar&Pushing
downwardonthe handlewill raisethe augeroff the groundandstop
the forwardmotion.
NOTE: Excessiveupwardpressureonthe handlewill resultin
prematurewearto the rubberaugerpaddies,which willnot becovered
by the warranty.
CLEARUNG A CLOGGED DUSCHARGE CHUTE
Handcontactwith the rotatingimpellerinsidethe dischargechute
is the mostcommoncauseof injuryassociatedwith snowthrowers.
Neveruse yourhand to cleanout thedischargechute.
Toclear thechute:
1. SHUTTHE ENGINEOFF!
Z Wait 10secondsto be surethe impellerbladeshavestopped
rotating.
3. Alwaysusea cleamouttool or stick,not yourhands.
