5. Adding detergent

Adding fabric softener or liquid

starch separately

 Select the Separate Rinseprogram.

 Change the spin speed if necessary.

 Add the fabric softener or the liquid

starch to the compartment. Do not

exceed the maximum level mark.

 Touch the Start/Stopsensor control.

This will be automatically dispensed in

the final rinse. At the end of the pro-

gram, a small amount of water remains

in the compartment.

Adding starch separately

 Prepare the starch solution in accor-

dance with the manufacturer’s in-

structions on the packaging.

 Select the Starchprogram.

 Add the prepared starch to the

compartment.

 Touch the Start/Stopsensor control.

Tip: If starching separately or automati-

cally, thoroughly clean the detergent

dispenser drawer, especially the siphon,

regularly.

Dye removers and dyes

 Damage due to color run/dye re-

movers.

Color run and dye removers can

cause corrosion in the washing ma-

chine.

Do not use color run or dye removers

in the washing machine.

Only use dyes suitable for use in a

washing machine. The manufacturer’s

instructions on the packaging must be

observed.
