9. Move throttle lever to "Fast" position, shown here as a
rabbit.
10. Move choke lever to "Choke" position.
NOTE:For a warm engine, be sure the choke lever is in the
"Run" position.
11. When starting engine, position yourself as
recommended, grasp handle and pull recoil starter
lightly until you feel some resistance, then pull briskly.
Startercord kickback (rapid retraction) can result
in bodily injury. Kickbackwill pull hand and arm
_,_ toward enginefaster than you can let go.
Broken bones, fractures, bruises, or sprains
could result.
o NEVERpull startercord withoutfirst relievingspraygun
pressure.
o Whenstartingengine,pullcord slowlyuntil resistanceis felt
andthen pullrapidlyto avoidkickback.
o Aftereachstartingattempt,whereenginefailsto run, always
pointspray gun in safedirectionandsqueezesprayguntrigger
to releasehighpressure.Engagesprayguntriggerlock.
o Firmlygraspspraygunwith bothhandswhen usinghigh
pressuresprayto avoidinjurywhenspraygun kicks back.
12. Return recoil starter slowly. DO NOTlet rope "snap
back" against starter.
13. When engine starts, slowly move choke lever to "Run"
position, as engine warms. If engine falters, move choke
lever to "Choke" position, then to "Run" position.
14. After each starting attempt, where engine fails to run,
always point gun in safe direction and squeezespray
gun trigger to release high pressure. Movechoke lever
to "Run" position, and repeatsteps 11through 13.
15. If enginefails to start after six pulls, move choke lever to
"Run" position, and repeatsteps 11 through 13.
NOTE:Always keepthe throttle lever in the "Fast" position
when operating the pressure washer.
WARNING
The high pressure stream of water that this
equipment produces can cut through skin and its
_ nderlying tissues, leading to serious injury and

engine is stopped and water is disconnected,

How to Stop Your Cleaning System
