#1 What is TDS and why should you care?

1. Highly recommend using water that TDS<50ppm for ice making.

2. If using water that TDS>50ppm can cause scale buildup in the water pipe. Meanwhile, the minerals in water will rub against the skates, producing great noise.

#2 How to clean the Ice Maker?

We suggest cleaning the Ice Maker once every 1 to 2 weeks. Unplug the Ice Maker and drop the drain to empty out any remaining water in the tank. Clean with mild dish soap and warm water. Gently wipe with a soft damp washcloth.
