SETTING CLOCK
To set the correct time of day, follow the steps below.
Example: To set 3:15:
Step Procedure Keypad
Touch CLOCK.

If the clock (or display) shows any abnormality, unplu I the oven from the AC
outlet. Plug it in again and then reset the clock.
When your oven is plugged in for the first time or when power resumes after a
power interruption, reset the clock.
This is a 12 hour clock.
The clock display can be turned off. See page 15 (Optional settings) for more
details,
CHILD LOCK-OUT
The oven has a safety feature which prevents use by children. The feature locks the
operation of the oven until canceled.
To set:

Note: If any key is touched except STOP/CLEAR, START, KITCHEN TIMER,
CLOCK, short 3 beeps sound.

DEMO MODE SETTING
Touch STOP/CLEAR and hold for 4 seconds. DEMO lights in the display.
Microwave energy will not be produced while DEMO indicator appears in the
display.
To cancel Demo mode, touch STOP/CLEAR and hold for 4 seconds. DEMO
disappears from the display•
KITCHEN TIMER
You can use the Kitchen Timer function independently, even while a cooking
program is in progress. The Kitchen Timer willbe displayed on the lower lineof the
display.
Example: To set timer for 3 minutes:

3 The timer starts counting and

Kitchen Timerwill not beep ifthe ovenbeeps at the same timetoindicate
another oven operation (theend of a cooking,for example).
Ifyou do not enter a timertime for 10 secondsafter step 1,the setting is
cleared with a beep.
Ifa cookingcompletes whileyou are settingthe KitchenTimer,allsettingsare
cleared. Restartfrom step 1.
Ifno key istouchedfor 5 secondsafter the last key entryat step2 above, the
timerautomaticallystarts.
TIME COOKING
This basic microwave cooking method allows you to cook food for a desired time.
In addition to the P100 (maximum) power level, you can select different microwave
power from 11 levels, P 0 to P100 (0-100% of total power level).
Multistage Cooking
You can program the oven for up to 3 stages of cooking in sequence. Each stage
can be programmed with a different time setting and power.To program 2-stage or
3-stage cooking, gothrough steps 1 to 3 on page 14. Steps I to 3 should be followed
for each stage of cookingthat is programmed. After the time and power have been
entered for all stages, touch START. The oven willcook inaccordance withthe time
and power sequences that were entered.
When you cook on P100 power for 1-stage, you must enter POWER, 1 and 0.
You can not skip step 2, 3 when setting multistage cooking.
Delay Start Cooking:
You can delay the time that you would like cooking to start. Cooking can be delayed
upto 99 minutes 99 seconds. To delay cooking, follow the procedures for multistage
cooking, with the following exception: For stage 1, enter the time that you would like
cooking to be delayed and enter 0 for the power level. Continue to enter time and
power sequences for stages 2 and 3, as desired.
Manual Defrosting (Without using Auto Defrost feature):
Use power level P 30. To speed up the defrosting of dense foods over 1 Ib (450 g),
you may start on P100 for 2 minutes, then reduce tothe level P 30.
