How To Set The Drift Cutters
Drift cutters are used to cut a path
through snow deeper than the auger
housing.
1. Loosen the wingnuts that secure
the drift cutters to the auger hous-
ing. See Figure 15.
2. Raise the drift cutters to the de-
sired height.
3. Tighten the wingnuts.

e_ The discharge chute rotates freely.
e" No remaining loose parts in carton.

e" Engine oil is at proper level.
e_ Make sure gas tank is filled properly
with clean, fresh, unleaded gasoline.
e_ Become familiar with all controls-
their location and function. Operate
controls before starting engine.
