DANGER
Risk of crushing
A Wear slip-proof working gloves and safety shoes.
A When carrying out work, ensure that parts of the body, especially the hands and feet, are not positioned under or
between machines.
DANGER
There is a risk of injury, particularly spinal injuries, as the tumble dryer must be lifted on top of the washing
machine for fitting.
A The relation of the weight of the machines to the physical strength of the technician must be taken into account.
For machine weight details, see the operating instructions.
Fitting the APCL001 stacking kit
Lotus white lid
A Remove the protective film from the frame.
A Position the frame flush with the back of the lid, line up and mark 4 holes for drilling (1), see Fig. 1.
A Insert a screwdriver into the caps on the side of the lid, see Fig. 2, (A).
This will damage the caps beyond repair and they will have to be replaced.
A Remove the caps from the lid.
A Unscrew the 2 fixing screws on the right and left at the front of the lid by turning them several times, but do not
remove them completely, see Fig. 2, (B).
A If a fixing screw comes out, push it back in again.
The clip in the lid releases itself from the side panel.
A Remove the lid, see Fig. 2, (C).
A Drill into but not through the lid. Drill pilot holes with a 2mm drill bit, see Fig. 3, (1).
A Use a 6mm drill bit to finish drilling the holes. Drill depth 8mm, see Fig. 3, (2).
A If you drill through the lid, use silicone to seal the hole. Seal the drilled hole from above and below.
A Screw in the M4x9 insert nuts flush with the surface (1), see Fig. 4.
Tip
Use e.g. a 3.5mm Allen key or a 0.6x3.5mm flat-head screwdriver bit or a size3 HGO bit to screw in the M4x9
insert nuts.
A Stick 4xprepared spacers (1) onto the underside of the frame lined up with the drilled holes; the guide lugs on the
spacers are aligned for positioning in the additional drilled holes on the frame, see Fig. 5.
A Position and align the frame.
A Position 2xrear foot holders and screw each one tight with 1M4x16 countersunk screw (1), see Fig. 6.
A Position 2xfront foot holders and screw each one tight with 1M4x16 countersunk screw (2), see Fig. 6.
A Position and fit the lid.
A Insert new caps into the lid.
Stainless steel lid
A Remove the protective film from the frame.
A Position the frame flush with the back of the lid, line up and mark 8 holes for drilling (1), see Fig. 8.
A Unscrew the 2 fixing screws on the right and left at the front of the lid by turning them several times, but do not
remove them completely, see Fig. 9, (A).
