AFTER EACHUSE
Water should not remain in the unit for iong periods of time.
Sediments or minerais can deposit on pump parts and
"freeze" pump action. Followthese procedures after every
USe:
1. Flush detergent system by turning its detergent shut-off
vaiveto "Off" position and run pressure washer with
biack detergent spray tip. Flush for one to two minutes.
2. Shut off engine, turn off water suppiy, point gun in a
safe direction and squeezetrigger to relieve trapped
pressure, engagetrigger lock on spray gun and let
engine cool.
WARNING
The high pressure stream of water that this equipment
produces can cut through skin and its underlying
_ issues leading to serious injury and possible
amputation.
Spray gun traps high water pressure, evenwhen
engine is stopped and water is disconnected, which
can cause injury.
Keep high pressure hose connected to purnp and spray gun
while system is pressurized.
o ALWAYS point spray gun in safe direction, press red button
and squeezespray gun trigger, to rebase high pressure, every
time you stop engine.
3= Disconnect hose from spray gun and high pressure
outlet on pump. Drain water from hose, gun, and nozzle
extension. Use a rag to wipe off the hose.
4. Empty pump of ati pumped iiquids by puliing recoii
handle about 6 times. This should remove most liquid in
pump.
5. CoiI high pressure hose and properly hang it on hook
provided on handle.
6. Store unit in a clean, dpj area.
7. If storing for more than 30 days see Long Term Storage
on next page.

Te pretect the unit frem freezing temperatures;
1. Empty cleaning tank as foliows:
a. Disconnect hose connected to injection fitting on
pump. Piaceend of hose into suitabb container.
b. Rotate detergent shut=offvaive to "On" position and
openthe tanks cover. Gravity wiii empty tank
contents into container.
c. Reconnecthose to injection fitting on pump. Add
0.5 quart of clean fresh water to cleaning tank and
close tank cover.
2. Fiushcieaning system by turning detergent shut-off
valve to "On" position and run pressure washer with
black detergent spray tip. Fiush untii cleaning tank is
empty. Turn its detergentshut-off vaive to "Off" position.
3. Foliow steps 2-5 in the previous section After Each Use.
4. Usepump saver, avaitabIeat Sears retail item
7174403GS,to treat pump. This minimizes freeze
damageand iubricates pistons and seais.
5. If pump saver is not avaiiabie,connect a 3-foot section
of garden hose to water inIet adapter. Pour
RV-antifreeze (antifreezewithout aicohoI) into hose. Pull
recoii handletwice. Disconnect 3-foot hose.
6. Store unit in a clean, dry area.
