1. Open the battery compartment by twisting the base to the
left/counterclockwise. (fig. A)
2. Tilt the bottom of the battery away from its holder to remove
it (fig. B). Refit the new battery with the + terminal of the
battery facing down as shown.
3. Close the battery compartment by twisting the base to the
right/clockwise.
Use of any batteries other than alkaline
will negatively affect the unit’s operating
performance. Batteries should not be left
in the unit if the unit is not in use for long
periods. To prevent battery corrosion the
unit should be kept in a dry environment.
Dead batteries should be removed imme-
diately and disposed of properly.
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
The lower voltage in recharged batteries
impairs the performance of the cutting unit.
Before Use
Test a small area on an arm or leg before using your trimmer
completely. Discontinue use immediately if any sensitivity or
allergic reaction occurs. Do not use on sensitive or irritated skin.
Using the Trimmer
The trimmer’s blade can be used for trimming body and facial
hair. If you want to completely remove hair, use the trimmer
without the comb attachment.
To switch your trimmer on, twist the base to the right/
clockwise until the trimming head is fully extended and the
motor starts (fig. C).
Using the Comb
The comb attachment helps you achieve an even cut without
completely removing the hair. The comb has two sides: the
long tooth leaves hair longer than the short tooth (we recom-
mend starting with the long tooth).
1. Open the battery compartment by twisting the base to the
left/counterclockwise.
2. Remove the comb from its storage position. Close the battery
compartment.
3. Twist the base to the right/clockwise to extend the trimming
head then slide the eyebrow comb over the trimming head
(fig. D) with the appropriate side of the comb facing out.
4. When done using the comb, remove it before lowering the
trimming head into the unit. Store the comb in the battery
compartment and close trimmer to the compact/off position.
