Check this list for a possible troubleshooting solutions before calling for service.

PROBLEM SOLUTION
My turntable doesn’t
turn on.
• Make sure that the power cord is connected
to your turntable and a working power
outlet.
I don’t hear sound from
the speakers.
• Increase the volume on the turntable.
• Make sure that the sound source matches
your turntable’s output.
• If you are using the RCA jacks, make sure that
the RCA cable is connected correctly and
securely.
The sound is noisy. • Turn off appliances (like a TV) near your
turntable.
• Move your turntable farther away from
nearby appliances.
My turntable is on, but
doesn’t respond.
• Remove the power cord and all power supply
devices, wait one minute, then plug your
turntable back into the power outlet.
PROBLEM SOLUTION
The sound is noisy when
I use my turntable for a
period of time.
• Replace the stylus.
A record doesn’t fit on
the spindle.
• Make sure that the record is a 33 or 45 RPM
record. Your turntable doesn’t play 78 RPM
