Basic Functions
Selecting Menus and Settings
Menus are used to adjust shooting and playback settings, as well as other
camera settings like the Date/Time and sounds. Menus are displayed by
pressing the SET/FUNC. or MENU button according to the circumstances.
Use the following procedures to select settings. See Menu Settings and
Factory Defaults (p. 50) for the menu items and options.

Press the SET/FUNC. button.
The icons of the items that can be adjusted
appear at the LCD monitor’s left edge.

Use the or button to select an
item.

Use the or button to select an
option.
• The icon changes to the icon of the
selected option.
• Some menu items can only be selected
after pressing the MENU button to change
the menu.
• You can shoot right after performing these
steps. The menu displays again after the
shot, allowing you to change the settings
easily.

Press the SET/FUNC. button.
The menu will close.
