Quick Start

Charge the battery pack (p. 20).
Charge the battery pack using the supplied
battery charger. The charging is complete
when the charge indicator turns from red to
green.

Install the battery pack (p. 23).
• Slide the SD card slot/battery cover open
and press the battery lock while you insert
the battery pack.
• Align the arrows on the battery pack and
on the camera to correctly insert the
battery pack.

Install the SD card and close the SD
card slot/battery cover (p. 25).
• Insert the SD card as shown on the inside
of the battery cover until you hear it click
into place.
• Do not touch or allow metal objects to
contact the terminals on the back of the
SD card.

Slide the mode switch to
(Shooting) (p. 34).

Turn on the power (p. 32).
The indicator blinks green, then shuts off.
