Using the dispenser
Ice and Water Dispenser

Locking the dispenser
Press and hold the Lock button for three
seconds to lock the dispenser and all the control
panel functions. Follow the same instructions
to unlock.
Cleaning the dispenser stand
The dispenser drip tray shape has no self-draining
function. It should be cleaned regularly.
Note: Dispensing water in periods of 30s ON
and 60s OFF. Do not dispense ice for over 30s ON.
CAUTION
Keep children away from the dispenser.
Children may play with or damage the
controls.
To dispense cold water or ice, push on the
dispenser switch with a glass.
If discolored ice is dispensed, check
the water lter and water supply. If the
problem continues, contact a qualied
service center. Do not use the ice or
water until the problem is corrected.
The dispenser will not operate when
either of the refrigerator doors are
open.
If dispensing water or ice into a
container with a small opening, place it
as close to the dispenser as possible.
Some dripping may occur after
dispensing. Hold your cup beneath
the dispenser for a few seconds after
dispensing to catch all of the drops.
NOTE
Throw away the rst few batches of ice
(about 24 cubes). This is also necessary if
the refrigerator has not been used for a long
time.
CAUTION
WARNING: Do not put your ngers up the
ice chute opening. Doing so can result in
severe injury.
CAUTION: Do not dispense ice into ne
china or crystal glasses. ne China or
crystal can break.
