DANGER
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF PERSONAL INJURY IN THE EVENT OF A
COOKTOP GREASE FIRE:
TAKING CARE NOT TO BURN YOURSELF, SMOTHER FLAMES with
a close-fitting lid, cookie sheet, or metal tray, then turn OFF the
cooktop. If the flames do not extinguish immediately, EVACUATE,
AND CALL THE FIRE DEPARTMENT.
NEVER PICK UP A FLAMING PAN.
DO NOT USE WATER (incl. wet dishclothes/towels) TO EXTINGUISH
FLAMES–a violent steam explosion may result.
Use a fire extinguisher ONLY if:
you have a Class ABC extinguisher and know how to operate it
the fire is small and contained in its area of origin
the fire department is being called
you can fight the fire with your back to an exit.
WARNING

that the electromagnetic field generated by an operating induction

To avoid risk of explosion/fire, do not store or use combustible/
flammable/explosive vapors and liquids on/in/near the cooktop.
Do not set or store flammable/explosive (e.g., aerosol cans,
alcohol) on/near the cooktop.
NEVER use the cooktop to heat the room.
NEVER cover any slots/holes/passages in the chassis with foil or
other material. Blocking air flow through the cooktop traps heat,
which may create a fire hazard.
