SMART COOK & GRILL FOOD TYPES
Meat
The SMART COOK & GRILL – MEAT setting
is suitable for smaller cuts, e.g. steaks and
chops of beef, lamb and pork.
Cook times are based on meat directly from the
refrigerator (approx. 40°F/5°C).
Arrange meat on the preheated crisper pan,
making sure thicker ends are positioned
towards the outer edges of the pan.
Halfway through the cook program, the oven
will beep and flash ‘Stir/Turn food’. Pause and
turn meat over, then press START to continue.
At the end of the cooking cycle, allow meat
to stand for 5 minutes before removing
and serving.
Chicken
The SMART COOK & GRILL – CHICKEN
setting is suitable for cooking chicken pieces
such as drumsticks, wings, thighs and breasts,
with or without skin.
Cook times are based on chicken directly from
the refrigerator (approx. 40°F/5°C).
Arrange chicken pieces on the preheated
crisper pan, making sure thicker ends are
positioned towards the outer edges of the pan.
Halfway through the cook program, the oven
will beep and flash ‘Stir/Turn food’. Pause and
turn chicken pieces over, then press START
to continue.
At the end of the cooking cycle, allow chicken
to stand for 5 minutes before removing
and serving.
Potato - Roasted
The SMART COOK & GRILL – ROASTED
POTATO setting is suitable for cooking cut
potatoes, small new potatoes or cut sweet
potatoes so that they are brown and crispy on
the outside while remaining soft and tender on
the inside.
Cook times are based on potatoes at
room temperature.
Cut potatoes, if necessary, into even
1.5–2" (2–3cm) pieces and toss in oil. Place in a
single layer on the preheated crisper pan.
Halfway through the cook program, the oven
will beep and flash ‘Stir/Turn food’. Pause and
stir or turn the potatoes over then press START
to continue.
At the end of the cooking cycle, allow potatoes
to stand for 5 minutes before removing
and serving.
Veg - Roasted
The SMART COOK & GRILL – ROASTED
VEG setting is suitable for cooking vegetables
such as broccoli, cauliflower and Brussels
sprouts so that they are brown and crisp.
Cook times are based on vegetables directly
from the refrigerator (approx. 40°F/5°C).
Cut vegetables into even 1.5–2" (2–3cm) pieces
and toss in oil. Place in a single layer on the
preheated crisper pan.
Halfway through the cook program, the oven
will beep and flash ‘Stir/Turn food’. Pause and
stir or turn the vegetables over then press
START to continue.
At the end of the cooking cycle, allow
vegetables to stand for 5 minutes before
removing and serving.
