2. Intended use
This multi functional thermometer is intended solely for measuring
forehead temperature, ear temperature and object temperature. It al
-
lows you to quickly and easily measure body temperature and object
temperature. Values are saved automatically. The multi functional ther
-
mometer is suitable for domestic use.
Use the device for the intended purpose only and in the manner spe-
cified in these instructions for use. Any form of improper use can be
dangerous. The manufacturer is not liable for damage resulting from
improper or careless use.
This device complies with EU Directive 93/42/EEC concerning medical
devices, the Medizinproduktegesetz (German Medical Devices Act),
the ASTM (American Society for Testing and Materials) E 1965 - 98
and the European Standard EN 12470-5: Clinical thermometers – Part
5: Performance for infrared ear thermometers (with maximum device)
and the European Standard EN60601-1-2, and is subject to particular
precautions with regard to electromagnetic compatibility. Please note
that portable and mobile HF communication systems may interfere
with this unit. More details can be requested from the stated Customer
Services address or found at the end of the instructions for use.
3. Notes
Safety notes
WARNING
•
To measure temperature, insert the sensor tip of the thermometer
carefully into the ear.
•
Use of the thermometer on dierent persons can be inappropriate in
the event of certain acute infectious diseases because of the pos
-
sible spread of germs despite cleaning and disinfection. If you have
any doubts, please consult your doctor.
•
Keep the device away from children. Choking hazard! Children may
swallow the packaging material or the forehead/cover cap.
•
Children must not be allowed to use the device. Medical products
are not toys.
•
Check before each use that the lens is intact. If it is damaged, contact
your retailer or the service address.
•
The device has been designed for practical use, but is not a substitute
for a visit to the doctor.

Notes on handling batteries
•
If your skin or eyes come into contact with battery fluid, rinse the af-
fected areas with water and seek medical assistance.
•
Choking hazard! Small children may swallow and choke on bat-
teries. Store the batteries out of the reach of small children.
•
Observe the plus (+) and minus (-) polarity signs.
•
If a battery has leaked, put on protective gloves and clean the battery
compartment with a dry cloth.
•
Protect batteries from excessive heat.
•
Risk of explosion! Never throw batteries into a fire.
•
Do not charge or short-circuit batteries.
•
If the device is not to be used for a relatively long period, take the
batteries out of the battery compartment.
•
Use identical or equivalent battery types only.
•
Always replace all batteries at the same time.
•
Do not use rechargeable batteries.
•
Do not disassemble, split or crush the batteries.
General notes
•
Repairs must only be carried out by authorised service centres, other-
wise the guarantee is invalidated.

This thermometer is a sensitive electronic device. Handle it with care
and do not subject it to any mechanical impacts.
•
Do not expose the device to direct sunlight.
•
The thermometer is NOT waterproof. For this reason, direct contact
with water or other liquids must be avoided.
•
The SFT 75 multi functional thermometer is only designed for the
measuring area stated in the instructions for use.
•
After each use, clean the measuring tip with a soft cloth moistened
with disinfectant.
•
Before making a claim, please check the batteries first and replace
them if necessary.
•
Repairs must only be carried out by authorised service centres; oth-
erwise, the guarantee is invalidated.
•

6. Initial use
The batteries are already inserted in new devices. Before first use, re-
move the protruding plastic insulating strip from the battery compart-
ment. The multi functional thermometer will then switch on automatically.
7. Basic settings
You can adjust the following basic settings on the multi functional ther-
mometer: Temperature unit (Celsius/Fahrenheit), date and time.
1. Press the ON/MEAS button
to switch on the device.
2. Hold down the S button for five seconds.
3.
The current temperature unit setting flashes on the
display. Use the S button to select the temperature
unit (°C or °F). Use the M button to confirm
.
4. The year display flashes on the display. Use the
S button to select the current year. Use the M
button to confirm.
5. The month display flashes on the display. Use
the S button to select the current month. Use
the M button to confirm.
6. The day display flashes on the display. Use the
S button to select the current day. Use the M
button to confirm.
7. The hour display flashes in the display. Use the S
button to select the current hour. Use the M
button to confirm.
8. The minute display flashes in the display. Use
the S button to select the current minute. Use
the M button to confirm.
9. The device stores the basic settings and automatically
switches o.
Activating/deactivating the button tone
You can activate/deactivate a button tone on the device.
When the button tone is activated, a beep sounds every time a button
is pressed and after every measurement.
To activate the button tone, ensure that the device is switched on and
then briefly press the S button. The loudspeaker symbol
appears on
the display. To deactivate the button tone again, press the S button once
more. The loudspeaker symbol disappears from the display.

8. What you should know about using this
thermometer
There are dierent thermometers for taking temperature measurements
in dierent parts of the body:
•
Ear/forehead thermometer (this thermometer, for measuring in the ear
or on the forehead area)
•
Rod thermometer (for rectal [in the back passage], axillary [under the
arm] or oral measurement [in the mouth])
Note
Taking the temperature gives a measurement that provides information
about a person’s current body temperature.
If you are uncertain about interpreting the results or if the value is
abnormal, please consult your doctor. This also applies in the case of
slight temperature changes if there are other symptoms of illness such
as agitation, severe sweating, flushed skin, fast pulse rate, tendency
to collapse etc.
Temperatures measured with dierent thermometers cannot be com
-
pared with one another.
You should therefore tell your doctor (or bear in mind if you are diag
-
nosing yourself) what thermometer you used to take your temperature
and in what part of the body.
The temperature of a healthy person is aected by various factors: the
person’s individual metabolism, their age (body temperature is higher
in babies and toddlers and decreases with age. Greater temperature
fluctuations occur faster and more often in children, e.g. due to growth
spurts), their clothing, the ambient temperature, the time of day (body
temperature is lower in the morning and increases throughout the
day towards evening), the preceding physical and, to a lesser extent,
mental activity.
The temperature varies depending on the part of the body where the
measurement is taken. The dierence can be between 0.2°C (0.4°F)
and 1°C (1.8°F) for a healthy person.
The normal temperature ranges are as follows:
•
On the forehead: 35.8°C (96.4°F) to 37.6°C (99.7°F), measured with
a forehead thermometer
•
In the ear: 36.0°C (96.8°F) to 37.8°C (100°F), measured with an ear
thermometer
•
In the back passage: 36.3°C (97.3°F) to 37.8°C (100°F), measured
with a conventional thermometer
•
In the mouth: 36.0°C (96.8°F) to 37.4°C (99.3°F), measured with a
conventional thermometer
In order to track temperature change, always take the measurements
in the same part of the body.
9. Measuring
Note
Check before each use that the lens is intact. If it is damaged, contact
your retailer or the service address.
Bear in mind that the multi functional thermometer needs to have been in the
room in which the measurement is taken for at least 30 minutes before use.
Before each measurement, make sure that the device is in the approp-
riate mode for the measurement that you wish to take.

9.1 Measuring body temperature on the forehead
Note
Please note that the forehead/temples must be free from sweat and
cosmetics and that taking vasoconstrictive medication and skin irritations
can distort the result when measuring temperature on the forehead.
1.
Hold down the ON/MEAS button for one second to switch on the
multi functional thermometer.
2. Place the measuring head with the forehead/cover cap fitted on the
temple.
3.
Keep the side measure button
pressed and move the multi functional
thermometer smoothly over the forehead
to the other temple.
4. Then release the measure button
.
The measured value appears on the
display and the end of the measuring is
signalled by a short beep (if button tone
is activated).
5. If the measured value is within the normal range
(<38°C/100.4°F), the green LED lights up for 3 se
-
conds. If the measured value is higher
(≥ 38°C/100.4°F, high temperature), the red LED is
illuminated.
6. The device switches o automatically after 60 se
-
conds.
7. Clean the device after every use as described in the “Cleaning and
storage” chapter.
9.2 Measuring body temperature in the ear
WARNING
•
Some people produce dierent readings in their left and right ear.
In order to record temperature changes, always measure a person’s
temperature in the same ear.
•
The built-in ear thermometer may be used by children only under
adult supervision. Measurement is usually possible over the age of 6
months. In infants under 6 months, the ear canal is still very narrow so
the temperature frequently cannot be recorded and the measurements
displayed are often too low.
•
The measurement must not be taken in an ear aected by inflammatory
diseases (e.g. discharging pus or secretion), after possible ear injuries
(e.g. eardrum damage) or in the healing period after operative proce-
dures. In all of these cases, please consult your doctor.
•
Use of the multi functional thermometer on dierent persons can be
inappropriate in the event of certain acute infectious diseases because
of the possible spread of germs despite cleaning and disinfection. If
you have any doubts, please consult your doctor.
•
If you have been lying on one ear for some time, the temperature is
slightly raised. Wait a little while or measure in the other ear.
•
As ear wax can aect the measurement, you should clean the ear
before measuring if necessary.
1.
Hold down the ON/MEAS button for one second to switch on the
multi functional thermometer.
2.
Remove the forehead/cover cap by gently
turning it to the right (1) and then pulling it
o forwards (2).

3. Make sure that the sensor tip and al-
so the ear canal are clean. As the ear
canal is slightly curved, you have to
pull the ear slightly up and backwards
before inserting the sensor tip. This
is important so that the sensor tip can
be pointed directly at the eardrum.
Positioning on small children
On infants under 1 year of age:
•
Lay down the infant such that one ear is pointing
upwards.
•
Pull the ear gently backwards before you carefully
insert the sensor tip into the ear.
In small children older than 1:
•
Stand slightly to the side behind the child.
•
Pull the ear gently up and backwards before you
carefully insert the sensor tip into the ear.
4.
Insert the sensor tip carefully and hold down the
ON/MEAS button for one second.
5. The measured value appears on the display and the
end of the measuring is signalled by a short beep (if
button tone is activated).
6. If the measured value is within the normal range
(<38°C/100.4°F), the green LED lights up. If the mea
-
sured value is higher (≥ 38°C/100.4°F, high tempera-
ture), the red LED is illuminated.
7. The device switches o automatically after 60 seconds.
8. Clean the device after every use as described in the “Cleaning and
storage” chapter.
9.3 Measuring object temperatures
1. Hold down the ON/MEAS button for one second to switch on
the multi functional thermometer.
2. Then hold down the M button and the S button simultaneously for
3 seconds to switch to object temperature mode.

5. To exit object temperature mode, hold down the M button and the
S button simultaneously again for 3 seconds.
6. The device switches o automatically after 60 seconds.
7. Please note that the displayed temperature is the measured and
not the adapted surface temperature. It is not the same as the fore
-
head/ear temperature.
9.4 Displaying stored measurements
The device automatically stores the values from the last 30 measure-
ments. When 30 memory spaces are exceeded, the oldest value is deleted.
The stored values can be called up as follows:
1.
Hold down the ON/MEAS button for one second to switch on the
multi functional thermometer.
2. Press the M button. The most recent measurement appears on the
display.
3.
To switch between the individual stored measurements, press the
M button.
4. The device switches o automatically after 60 seconds.

10. Replacing the battery
Before replacing the battery, ensure that the device is switched o.
When the batteries get weak, the battery warning symbol appears on
the display
. It is still possible to measure temperature.
However, the batteries must be replaced as soon as possible.
If the battery warning symbol
and are flashing
on the display, the batteries must be replaced immedia
-
tely. If the batteries are too flat, then the thermometer will
switch o automatically.
To change the batteries, follow the instructions below:
1. Use a screwdriver to turn the screw on the battery compartment lid.
2. Remove the battery compartment lid.
3. Take the flat batteries out of the battery compartment.
4. Insert the new batteries into the battery compartment until you hear
and feel them slot into place. Ensure when inserting the batteries that
the correct polarity (+/-) is observed.
5. Place the battery compartment lid back on.

11. Cleaning and storage
•
Clean the sensor tip and the fore-
head/cover cap after each use. Use a
clean cloth or cotton bud that can be
moistened with disinfectant, alcohol
or warm water.
•
To clean the entire device, use a soft
cloth slightly moistened with a mild
soapy solution.
•
Do not use any harsh cleaning products.
•
Always store the thermometer with the
forehead/cover cap on.
•
If prolonged storage is intended, you
should remove the batteries.
•
The device must not be stored or used at an excessively high or
low temperature or humidity (see technical data), in sunlight, in as
-
sociation with an electrical current or in dusty locations. Otherwise
inaccuracies can occur.
12. Disposal
The empty, completely flat batteries must be disposed of through spe-
cially designated collection boxes, recycling points or electronics retai-
lers. You are legally required to dispose of the batteries.
The codes below are printed on batteries containing harmful
substances:
Pb = Battery contains lead,
Cd = Battery contains cadmium,
Hg = Battery contains mercury.
For environmental reasons, do not dispose of the device
in the household waste at the end of its useful life. Dispose
of the unit at a suitable local collection or recycling point.
Dispose of the device in accordance with EC Directive –
WEEE (Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment). If you
have any questions, please contact the local authorities
responsible for waste disposal.

We oer a 3-year product warranty from the date of purchase against
material and production faults. The warranty does not cover:

The warranty does not aect the customer’s statutory rights. To assert

2. Προβλεπόμενος σκοπός χρήσης
Το παρόν θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών προορίζεται αποκλειστικά
για τη μέτρηση της θερμοκρασίας του μετώπου, του αυτιού και
αντικειμένων. Με αυτό μπορείτε να εξακριβώσετε τη θερμοκρασία του
σώματος ή αντικειμένων γρήγορα και απλά. Οι τιμές αποθηκεύονται
αυτόματα. Το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών είναι κατάλληλο για
μέτρηση στο σπίτι.

θερμόμετρα – Μέρος 5: Επίδοση θερμομέτρων αυτιού υπερύθρων (με
διάταξη μεγίστου) καθώς και στο ευρωπαϊκό πρότυπο EN60601-1-2 και
υπόκειται σε ειδικά μέτρα προφύλαξης σχετικά με την ηλεκτρομαγνητική
συμβατότητα. Παρακαλούμε να λάβετε υπόψη ότι φορητές ή κινητές
συσκευές επικοινωνίας HF μπορεί να επηρεάσουν αυτή τη συσκευή.

ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ
•
Κατά τις μετρήσεις στο αυτί να εισάγετε προσεκτικά το άκρο του
αισθητήρα του θερμομέτρου.

Η χρήση του θερμομέτρου σε διαφορετικά άτομα μπορεί να
προκαλέσει μετάδοση μόλυνσης στη περίπτωση ορισμένων οξέων
μολυσματικών ασθενειών λόγω μεταφοράς μικροβίων, παρά τον
καθαρισμό και τη χρήση απολυμαντικού μέσου. Σε αυτή την περίπτωση
συμβουλευτείτε τον γιατρό σας.
•
Φυλάσσετε τη συσκευή μακριά από παιδιά. Υπάρχει κίνδυνος ασφυξίας!
Υπάρχει κίνδυνος τα παιδιά να καταπιούν το υλικό συσκευασίας ή το
κάλυμμα μετώπου.
•
Η συσκευή δεν επιτρέπεται να χρησιμοποιείται από παιδιά. Τα
ιατροτεχνολογικά προϊόντα δεν είναι παιχνίδι.
•
Πριν από κάθε χρήση να ελέγχετε ότι ο φακός είναι άθικτος. Σε
περίπτωση που ο φακός έχει υποστεί ζημιά, απευθυνθείτε στον
προμηθευτή ή στη διεύθυνση εξυπηρέτησης.
•
Η συσκευή είναι σχεδιασμένη για πρακτική χρήση, αλλά δεν μπορεί να
αντικαταστήσει την επίσκεψη στο γιατρό.
Υποδείξεις για τη χρήση των μπαταριών
•
Εάν έλθει σε επαφή υγρό μπαταρίας με το δέρμα ή τα μάτια, ξεπλύνετε
αμέσως με άφθονο νερό τα σημεία που επλήγησαν και συμβουλευθείτε
αμέσως γιατρό.
•
Κίνδυνος κατάποσης! Μικρά παιδιά μπορεί να καταπιούν
μπαταρίες και να πνιγούν. Γι αυτό φυλάσσετε τις μπαταρίες σε μέρος
μακριά από τα παιδιά!
•
Προσέξτε τη σήμανση της πολικότητας συν (+) και μείον (-).
•
Όταν μια μπαταρία έχει παρουσιάσει διαρροή, φορέστε προστατευτικά
γάντια και καθαρίστε τη θήκη της με ένα στεγνό πανί.
•
Προστατεύετε τις μπαταρίες από υπερβολική θερμότητα.
•
Κίνδυνος έκρηξης! Μη ρίχνετε τις μπαταρίες στη φωτιά.
•
Οι μπαταρίες δεν επιτρέπεται να επαναφορτίζονται ή να βραχυκυ-
κλώνονται.
•
Αν σκοπεύετε να μη χρησιμοποιήσετε τη συσκευή για μεγάλο χρονικό
διάστημα, αφαιρέστε τις μπαταρίες από τη θήκη μπαταριών.
•
Χρησιμοποιείτε μόνον τον ίδιο ή έναν ισοδύναμο τύπο μπαταρίας.
•
Αλλάζετε όλες τις μπαταρίες ταυτόχρονα.
•
Μη χρησιμοποιείτε επαναφορτιζόμενες μπαταρίες!
•
Μην αποσυναρμολογείτε, ανοίγετε ή τεμαχίζετε τις μπαταρίες.
Γενικές οδηγίες
•
Επισκευές πρέπει να πραγματοποιούνται μόνο από εξουσιοδοτημένα
κέντρα τεχνικής υποστήριξης. Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση, η εγγύηση
ακυρώνεται.
•
Αυτό το θερμόμετρο είναι μια ευαίσθητη ηλεκτρονική συσκευή. Να
το μεταχειρίζεστε προσεκτικά και να μην το υποβάλλετε σε μηχα-
νικές κρούσεις.
•
Μην εκθέτετε τη συσκευή σε άμεση ηλιακή ακτινοβολία.
•
Το θερμόμετρο ΔΕΝ είναι αδιάβροχο. Για το λόγο αυτό, πρέπει να
αποφεύγεται η άμεση επαφή με νερό ή άλλα υγρά.
•
Το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών SFT 75 είναι κατασκευασμένο
μόνο για το σημείο που αναφέρεται στις οδηγίες χρήσης.
•
Μετά από κάθε χρήση, καθαρίζετε το άκρο μέτρησης με ένα μαλακό
πανί βρεγμένο με απολυμαντικό.
•
Προτού προβείτε σε κάποια καταγγελία, ελέγξτε πρώτα τις μπαταρίες
και, αν χρειαστεί, αντικαταστήστε τις.
•
Επισκευές πρέπει να πραγματοποιούνται μόνο από εξουσιοδοτημένα
κέντρα τεχνικής υποστήριξης. Σε διαφορετική περίπτωση, η εγγύηση
ακυρώνεται.
•
Αν έχετε περαιτέρω απορίες, απευθυνθείτε στο εξειδικευμένο
κατάστημα της περιοχής σας.

6. Θέση σε λειτουργία
Οι μπαταρίες είναι ήδη τοποθετημένες στη νέα συσκευή. Πριν από την
πρώτη χρήση τραβήξτε την προστατευτική ταινία των μπαταριών που
προεξέχει από τη θήκη των μπαταριών. Στη συνέχεια το θερμόμετρο
πολλαπλών λειτουργιών ενεργοποιείται αυτόματα.

7. Βασικές ρυθμίσεις
Μπορείτε να επιλέξετε τις παρακάτω βασικές ρυθμίσεις στο θερμόμετρο
πολλαπλών λειτουργιών: Μονάδα μέτρησης θερμοκρασίας (βαθμοί
Κελσίου / Φαρενάιτ), ημερομηνία και ώρα.
1. Για να ενεργοποιήσετε τη συσκευή, πιέστε το πλήκτρο
ενεργοποίησης/μέτρησης
.
2. Πατήστε για πέντε δευτερόλεπτα το πλήκτρο S.
3. Η επιλεγμένη μονάδα μέτρησης θερμοκρασίας
αναβοσβήνει στην οθόνη. Επιλέξετε με το πλήκτρο
S την επιθυμητή μονάδα μέτρησης θερμοκρασίας
(°C ή °F). Επιβεβαιώστε πατώντας το πλήκτρο M
.
4. Στην οθόνη αναβοσβήνει η ένδειξη έτους.
Επιλέξτε το τρέχον έτος πατώντας το πλήκτρο
S. Επιβεβαιώστε πατώντας το πλήκτρο M.
5. Στην οθόνη αναβοσβήνει η ένδειξη μήνα. Επιλέξτε

απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα.
Ενεργοποίηση / απενεργοποίηση ήχου πλήκτρων
Μπορείτε να ενεργοποιήσετε / απενεργοποιήσετε τον ήχο πλήκτρων
στη συσκευή.
Όταν είναι ενεργοποιημένος ο ήχος πλήκτρων, ακούγεται ένας
χαρακτηριστικός σύντομος ήχος κάθε φορά που πατάτε κάποιο πλήκτρο
και έπειτα από κάθε μέτρηση.
Για να ενεργοποιήσετε τον ήχο πλήκτρων, βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή
είναι ενεργοποιημένη και πατήστε σύντομα το πλήκτρο S. Στην οθόνη
εμφανίζεται ένα σύμβολο μεγαφώνου
. Για να απενεργοποιήσετε και
πάλι τον ήχο πλήκτρων, πατήστε εκ νέου το πλήκτρο S. Το σύμβολο
μεγαφώνου εξαφανίζεται.
8. Τι πρέπει να γνωρίζετε πριν από τη
μέτρηση
Υπάρχουν διάφορα θερμόμετρα για μέτρηση σε διαφορετικά σημεία
του σώματος:
•
Θερμόμετρο αυτιού/μετώπου (το θερμόμετρο για μέτρηση στο αυτί ή
στην περιοχή του μετώπου)
•
Θερμόμετρο με στέλεχος (για μέτρηση ορθού [στον πρωκτό], αξονική
[κάτω από τον βραχίονα], ή στοματική [στο στόμα])
Υπόδειξη
Η μέτρηση της θερμοκρασίας παρέχει μια αριθμητική τιμή που δίνει
πληροφορίες σχετικά με την τρέχουσα θερμοκρασία του σώματος.
Εάν δεν είστε βέβαιοι για την ερμηνεία των αποτελεσμάτων ή αν οι τιμές
αποκλίνουν από τις φυσιολογικές, θα πρέπει να συμβουλευτείτε τον
γιατρό σας. Αυτό ισχύει ακόμα και όταν οι μεταβολές θερμοκρασίας είναι
μικρές και παρουσιάζονται επιπλέον συμπτώματα ασθένειας, όπως π.χ.
ανησυχία, έντονη εφίδρωση, ερυθρότητα δέρματος, ταχυπαλμία, τάση
για λιποθυμία κ.λπ.

Δεν μπορούν να συγκριθούν οι θερμοκρασίες που μετρήθηκαν με
διαφορετικά θερμόμετρα.
Γι’ αυτό πρέπει να πληροφορήσετε τον γιατρό σας (ή να λάβετε υπόψη
κατά την αυτοδιάγνωση) με ποιο θερμόμετρο και σε ποιο σημείο του
σώματος μετρήσατε τη θερμοκρασία.
Η θερμοκρασία ενός υγιούς ατόμου επηρεάζεται από διάφορους
παράγοντες: το ξεχωριστό για κάθε άτομο επίπεδο μεταβολισμού, την
ηλικία (η σωματική θερμοκρασία των βρεφών και νηπίων είναι υψηλότερη
και μειώνεται όσο περνούν τα χρόνια. Οι διακυμάνσεις θερμοκρασίας στα
παιδιά είναι εντονότερες και συχνότερες, π.χ. λόγω ταχείας ανάπτυξης),
την ενδυμασία, την εξωτερική θερμοκρασία, την ώρα της ημέρας (το
πρωί η σωματική θερμοκρασία είναι χαμηλότερη και αυξάνεται κατά τη
διάρκεια της ημέρας), όταν έχει προηγηθεί σωματική δραστηριότητα και,
σε μικρότερο βαθμό, επίσης πνευματική δραστηριότητα.
Η τιμή της θερμοκρασίας παρουσιάζει αποκλίσεις ανάλογα με το
σημείο του σώματος στο οποίο γίνεται η μέτρηση. Η απόκλιση σε υγιείς
ανθρώπους μπορεί να κυμαίνεται μεταξύ 0,2°C (0,4°F) – 1°C (1,8°F).
Το εύρος της φυσιολογικής θερμοκρασίας είναι
•
μέτρηση στο μέτωπο: 35,8°C (96,4°F) – 37,6°C (99,7°F), με θερμόμετρο
μετώπου,
•
μέτρηση στο αυτί: 36,0°C (96,8°F) – 37,8°C (100°F), με θερμόμετρο
αυτιού,
•
θερμοκρασία μετρημένη στο ορθό: 36,3°C (97,3°F) – 37,8°C (100°F),
με συμβατικό θερμόμετρο,
•
θερμοκρασία μετρημένη στο στόμα: 36,0°C (96,8°F) – 37,4°C (99,3°F),
με συμβατικό θερμόμετρο.
Για την παρακολούθηση του προφίλ της θερμοκρασίας, μπορείτε να
κάνετε τη μέτρηση πάντα στο ίδιο σημείο του σώματος.
9. Μέτρηση
Υπόδειξη
Πριν από κάθε χρήση να ελέγχετε ότι ο φακός δεν έχει υποστεί ζημιά.
Αν έχει υποστεί ζημιά, αποταθείτε στη διεύθυνση του αντιπροσώπου
ή του Service.
Να θυμάστε ότι το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών πρέπει να
βρίσκεται για τουλάχιστον 30 λεπτά στον χώρο όπου πρόκειται να γίνει
η μέτρηση.
Πριν από κάθε μέτρηση, βεβαιωθείτε ότι έχετε ενεργοποιήσει τη
λειτουργία με την οποία θέλετε να προβείτε στη μέτρηση

9.1 Μέτρηση θερμοκρασίας του σώματος στο μέτωπο
Υπόδειξη
Λάβετε υπόψη ότι το μέτωπο/οι κρόταφοι πρέπει να είναι καθαρά από
ιδρώτα και καλλυντικά και ότι κατά τη μέτρηση στο μέτωπο η λήψη
αγγειοσυσταλτικών φαρμάκων και οι ερεθισμοί του δέρματος μπορεί να
αλλοιώσουν τα αποτελέσματα της μέτρησης.
1.
Για να ενεργοποιήσετε το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών, πιέστε
για ένα δευτερόλεπτο το πλήκτρο ενεργοποίησης/μέτρησης .
2.
Φέρετε την κεφαλή μέτρησης με τοποθετημένο το κάλυμμα μετώπου
στον κρόταφο.

3. Κρατήστε πατημένο το πλευρικό
πλήκτρο μέτρησης
και οδηγήστε
το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών
πάνω από το μέτωπο προς τον άλλο
κρόταφο.
4. Κατόπιν αφήστε ελεύθερο το πλήκτρο
μέτρησης
. Στην οθόνη
εμφανίζεται η μετρηθείσα τιμή και το
τέλος της μέτρησης επισημαίνεται με
έναν σύντομο χαρακτηριστικό ήχο (εφόσον είναι ενεργοποιημένος ο
ήχος πλήκτρων).
5. Αν η μετρούμενη τιμή είναι εντός των φυσιολογικών
ορίων (<38°C), ανάβει η πράσινη λυχνία LED
για 3 δευτερόλεπτα. Αν η μετρούμενη τιμή είναι
υψηλότερη
(≥ 38°C/100,4°F), ανάβει η κόκκινη λυχνία LED.
6. Η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα έπειτα από
60 δευτερόλεπτα.
7. Καθαρίζετε τη συσκευή μετά από κάθε χρήση, όπως περιγράφεται
στο κεφάλαιο „Καθαρισμός / Φύλαξη“.
9.2 Μέτρηση θερμοκρασίας του σώματος στο αυτί
ΠΡΟΕΙΔΟΠΟΙΗΣΗ
•
Υπάρχουν άτομα με διαφορετικές μετρήσεις θερμοκρασίας στο
αριστερό και στο δεξί αυτί. Για να παρακολουθείτε τις μεταβολές
της θερμοκρασίας, η μέτρηση πρέπει πάντα να διεξάγεται σε ένα
άτομο στο ίδιο αυτί.
•
Το ενσωματωμένο θερμόμετρο αυτιού μπορεί να χρησιμοποιηθεί
σε παιδιά μόνον υπό την άμεση επίβλεψη ενηλίκων. Κατά κανόνα
η μέτρηση είναι δυνατή από την ηλικία των 6 μηνών. Σε βρέφη
κάτω των 6 μηνών, ο ακουστικός πόρος είναι ακόμα πολύ στενός,
με αποτέλεσμα η ανίχνευση της θερμοκρασίας του συχνά να μην
είναι δυνατή και να εμφανίζονται υπερβολικά μειωμένες ενδείξεις
μέτρησης.
•
Δεν πρέπει να γίνεται μέτρηση σε αυτί με φλεγμονή (π.χ. εκροή
πύου, παραγωγή εκκρίσεων), μετά από πιθανή βλάβη του αυτιού (π.χ.
διάτρηση τυμπάνου) ή στη φάση επούλωσης μετά από εγχειρητική
επέμβαση. Σε όλες αυτές τις περιπτώσεις παρακαλείστε να
συμβουλεύεστε τον γιατρό σας.
•
Η χρήση του θερμομέτρου πολλαπλών λειτουργιών σε διαφορετικά
άτομα μπορεί να προκαλέσει μετάδοση μόλυνσης στη περίπτωση
ορισμένων οξέων μολυσματικών ασθενειών λόγω μεταφοράς
μικροβίων, παρά τον καθαρισμό και τη χρήση απολυμαντικού μέσου.
Σε αυτή την περίπτωση συμβουλευτείτε τον γιατρό σας.
•
Εάν έχετε ξαπλώσει πλάγια και πιέζετε το αυτί σας για πολύ ώρα,
η θερμοκρασία παρουσιάζεται ελαφρά αυξημένη. Περιμένετε λίγο ή
πραγματοποιήστε μέτρηση στο άλλο αυτί.
•
Η κυψελίδα του αυτιού μπορεί να επηρεάσει τη μέτρηση, συνεπώς είναι
απαραίτητο να καθαριστεί το αυτί πριν από τη μέτρηση
1. Για να ενεργοποιήσετε το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών,
πιέστε για ένα δευτερόλεπτο το πλήκτρο ενεργοποίησης/
μέτρησης
.
2. Αφαιρέστε το κάλυμμα μετώπου
στρέφοντάς το ελαφρά προς τα δεξιά (1)
και τραβώντας το προς τα εμπρός (2).

3.
Βεβαιωθείτε ότι το άκρο του
αισθητήρα καθώς και ο ακουστικός
πόρος είναι καθαρά. Επειδή ο
ακουστικός πόρος έχει ελαφρά
καμπύλωση, πριν από την
τοποθέτηση του άκρου του αισθητήρα
θα πρέπει να τραβήξετε το αυτί προς
τα πίσω, ώστε το άκρο του αισθητήρα
να ευθυγραμμιστεί με το τύμπανο
.
Τοποθέτηση σε βρέφη
Σε βρέφη ηλικίας κάτω του ενός έτους:
•
Κρατήστε το βρέφος ξαπλωμένο στο πλάι, ώστε το
ένα αυτί του να είναι στραμμένο προς τα πάνω.
•
Τραβήξτε απαλά το αυτί του προς τα πίσω και στη
συνέχεια εισάγετε προσεκτικά την άκρη του
αισθητήρα στο αυτί.
Σε παιδιά ηλικίας άνω του ενός έτους:
•
Σταθείτε πίσω από το παιδί και ελαφρώς προς
το πλάι.
•
Τραβήξτε απαλά το αυτί του προς τα πάνω και
στη συνέχεια εισάγετε προσεκτικά την άκρη του
αισθητήρα στο αυτί.
4. Εισάγετε προσεκτικά το άκρο του αισθητήρα και πατήστε το
πλήκτρο
ενεργοποίησης/μέτρησης για 1 δευτερόλεπτο.
5. Στην οθόνη εμφανίζεται η μετρηθείσα τιμή και το
τέλος της μέτρησης επισημαίνεται με έναν σύντομο
χαρακτηριστικό ήχο (εφόσον είναι ενεργοποιημένος
ο ήχος πλήκτρων).
6. Αν η μετρούμενη τιμή είναι εντός των φυσιολογικών
ορίων (< 38°C/100,4°F), ανάβει η πράσινη λυχνία
LED. Αν η μετρούμενη τιμή είναι υψηλότερη
(≥ 38°C/100,4°F), ανάβει η κόκκινη λυχνία LED.
7. Η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα έπειτα από 60
δευτερόλεπτα.
8. Καθαρίζετε τη συσκευή μετά από κάθε χρήση, όπως περιγράφεται
στο κεφάλαιο „Καθαρισμός / Φύλαξη“.
9.3 Μέτρηση θερμοκρασίας αντικειμένων
1. Για να ενεργοποιήσετε το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών,
πιέστε για ένα δευτερόλεπτο το πλήκτρο ενεργοποίησης/
μέτρησης
.
2. Πατήστε ταυτόχρονα για 3 δευτερόλεπτα το πλήκτρο M και το πλή-
κτρο S, για να ενεργοποιήσετε τον τρόπο λειτουργίας μέτρησης θερ-
μοκρασίας αντικειμένων. Στην οθόνη LCD εμφανίζεται η ένδειξη .
3. Πατήστε το πλήκτρο ενεργοποίησης/
μέτρησης και
ευθυγραμμίστε το άκρο του αισθητήρα, ενώ
κρατάτε πατημένο το πλήκτρο, σε απόσταση
3 cm από το αντικείμενο της μέτρησης ή από
υγρό (δεν επιτρέπεται η βύθιση σε υγρό).
4. Αφήστε ελεύθερο το πλήκτρο
ενεργοποίησης/μέτρησης .
Στην οθόνη εμφανίζεται η μετρηθείσα
τιμή και το τέλος της μέτρησης
επισημαίνεται με έναν σύντομο
χαρακτηριστικό ήχο (εφόσον είναι ενεργοποιημένος ο ήχος
πλήκτρων).
5.
Γιαέξοδο από τη λειτουργία μέτρησης θερμοκρασίας αντικειμένων,
κρατήστε ταυτόχρονα πατημένο το πλήτρο M και S για 3 δευτερό-
λεπτα.
6.

7. Λάβετε υπόψη ότι η αναγραφόμενη θερμοκρασία είναι η μετρηθείσα,
αλλά μη προσαρμοσμένη επιφανειακή θερμοκρασία. Δεν μπορεί να
συγκριθεί με τη θερμοκρασία μετώπου/αυτιού.
9.4 Εμφάνιση αποθηκευμένων τιμών μέτρησης
Η συσκευή αποθηκεύει αυτόματα τις τιμές μέτρησης από τις τελευταίες
30 μετρήσεις. Αν γίνει υπέρβαση των 30 θέσεων μνήμης, διαγράφεται η
παλαιότερη τιμή κάθε φορά.
Μπορείτε να εμφανίσετε τις τιμές μέτρησης ως εξής:
1.
Για να ενεργοποιήσετε το θερμόμετρο πολλαπλών λειτουργιών, πιέστε
για ένα δευτερόλεπτο το πλήκτρο ενεργοποίησης/μέτρησης .
2. Πιέστε το πλήκτρο M. Στην οθόνη εμφανίζεται η τελευταία μέτρηση.
3.
Για να μεταβείτε στις επιμέρους αποθηκευμένες τιμές μέτρησης,
πατήστε το πλήκτρο M.
4.
Η συσκευή απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα έπειτα από 60 δευτερόλεπτα.
10. Αντικατάσταση μπαταριών
Προτού αντικαταστήσετε την μπαταρία, βεβαιωθείτε ότι η συσκευή είναι
απενεργοποιημένη.
Όταν οι μπαταρίες αρχίζουν να εξαντλούνται, εμφανίζεται στην οθόνη
η προειδοποιητική ένδειξη μπαταρίας . Εξακολουθείτε να
μπορείτε να προβείτε σε μέτρηση της θερμοκρασίας, αλλά θα πρέπει
να αντικαταστήσετε τις μπαταρίες το συντομότερο δυνατό.
Όταν αναβοσβήνουν το σύμβολο προειδοποίησης μπαταρίας
και στην οθόνη, πρέπει να αντικαταστήσετε άμεσα
τις μπαταρίες. Αν οι μπαταρίες είναι πολύ αδύναμες, το
θερμόμετρο απενεργοποιείται αυτόματα.
Για να αντικαταστήσετε τις μπαταρίες, ακολουθήστε τα εξής βήματα:
1. Περιστρέψτε με ένα κατσαβίδι τη βίδα που βρίσκεται στο καπάκι της
θήκης μπαταριών.
2. Αφαιρέστε το κάλυμμα της θήκης μπαταριών.
3. Αφαιρέστε τις άδειες μπαταρίες από τη θήκη μπαταριών.
4.
Τοποθετήστε τις νέες μπαταρίες στη θήκη μπαταριών, έως ότου
ακούσετε και αισθανθείτε ότι έχουν ασφαλίσει στη θέση τους.
Προσέχετε τη σωστή πολικότητα των μπαταριών (+/-).
5. Κλείστε πάλι το κάλυμμα της θήκης μπαταρίας.
6.
Σφίξτε τη βίδα στο
καπάκι της θήκης
μπαταριών με ένα
κατσαβίδι.
11. Καθαρισμός / φύλαξη
•
Μετά από κάθε χρήση, να
καθαρίζετε το άκρο του αισθητήρα.
Χρησιμοποιήστε γι’ αυτό ένα μαλακό
πανί ή μια μπατονέτα, η οποία μπορεί
να είναι εμποτισμένη με απολυμαντικό,
οινόπνευμα ή ζεστό νερό.
•
Για τον καθαρισμό ολόκληρης της
συσκευής χρησιμοποιήστε ένα μαλακό
πανί, ελαφρά βρεγμένο με διάλυμα
σαπουνιού.
•
Μη χρησιμοποιείτε δραστικά
καθαριστικά.
•
Αποθηκεύετε πάντοτε το θερμόμετρο με
τοποθετημένο το καπάκι/κάλυμμα.
•
Σε περίπτωση παρατεταμένης αποθήκευσης, αφαιρέστε τις
μπαταρίες.

Η συσκευή δεν πρέπει να αποθηκεύεται ή να χρησιμοποιείται σε
πολύ υψηλές ή πολύ χαμηλές θερμοκρασίες ή υγρασία (βλ. τεχνικά
χαρακτηριστικά) στο ηλιακό φως, σε συνδυασμό με ηλεκτρικό ρεύμα
ή σε σκονισμένους χώρους. Διαφορετικά μπορεί να προκύψουν
ανακριβείς μετρήσεις.
12. Απόρριψη
Οι μπαταρίες που έχουν χρησιμοποιηθεί και έχουν εκφορτιστεί πλήρως
πρέπει να τοποθετούνται σε οικολογικούς κάδους με ειδική σήμανση ή
στα σημεία συγκέντρωσης ειδικών απορριμμάτων ή να παραδίδονται σε
εμπόρους ηλεκτρικών ειδών. Είσαστε υποχρεωμένοι από τη νομοθεσία
να φροντίσετε για την απόρριψη των μπαταριών.
Αυτά τα σύμβολα βρίσκονται στις μπαταρίες που περιέχουν
βλαβερές ουσίες:
Pb = Η μπαταρία περιέχει μόλυβδο,
Cd = Η μπαταρία περιέχει κάδμιο,
Hg = Η μπαταρία περιέχει υδράργυρο.
Για λόγους προστασίας του περιβάλλοντος, η συσκευή
στο τέλος της διάρκειας ζωής της δεν επιτρέπεται να απορρίπτεται
μαζί με τα οικιακά απορρίμματα. Η απόρριψη μπορεί να
πραγματοποιείται μέσω κατάλληλων σημείων συλλογής στη
χώρα σας. Απορρίψτε τη συσκευή σύμφωνα με την οδηγία
της ΕΚ σχετικά με τα απόβλητα ειδών ηλεκτρικού και
ηλεκτρονικού εξοπλισμού – WEEE (Waste Electrical and
Electronic Equipment). Σε περίπτωση αποριών, απευθυνθείτε στην
αρμόδια για την απόρριψη δημοτική υπηρεσία.

Questo termometro multifunzione è concepito esclusivamente per la mi-
surazione della temperatura frontale, auricolare e superficiale, e consente
di conoscere in modo semplice e veloce la temperatura del corpo e delle
superfici. I valori vengono memorizzati automaticamente. Il termometro
multifunzione è adatto per le misurazioni in casa.
Utilizzare l’apparecchio solo per lo scopo per il quale è stato concepito
e come descritto nelle presenti istruzioni per l’uso. Qualsiasi uso non
conforme comporta un pericolo! Il produttore non risponde di danni
causati da un uso inappropriato o non conforme.
L’apparecchio è conforme ai requisiti della direttiva europea per i dis-
positivi medici 93/42/EEC, alla legge sui dispositivi medici, alla norma
ASTM E 1965 - 98, alla norma europea EN 12470-5: Termometri clinici
- Parte 5: caratteristiche dei termometri per orecchio a infrarossi (con
dispositivo di massimo) e conformità alla norma europea EN60601-1-2,
con precauzioni d’impiego particolari per quanto riguarda la compati-

Avvertenze di sicurezza
AVVERTENZA
•
In caso di misurazioni auricolari inserire con cautela il sensore del
termometro nell’orecchio.
•
In presenza di determinate patologie acute e infettive, l’utilizzo del
termometro su più persone, nonostante la pulizia e la disinfezione, è
da sconsigliare a causa del possibile scambio di germi. Per casi par
-
ticolari rivolgersi al proprio medico curante.
•
Tenere l’apparecchio lontano dalla portata dei bambini. Sussiste il peri-
colo d’ingestione! I bambini possono ingerire il materiale d’imballaggio
o il cappuccio protettivo/per misurazione frontale.
•
Non lasciar utilizzare l’apparecchio a bambini. I dispositivi medici non
sono giocattoli.
•
Prima di ogni utilizzo, verificare che la lente sia intatta. Nel caso in cui
sia danneggiata rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore o al Servizio clienti.

L’apparecchio è stato concepito per l’utilizzo pratico, ma non può
sostituire una visita medica.
Avvertenze sull’uso delle batterie
•
Se il liquido della batteria viene a contatto con la pelle e con gli oc-
chi, sciacquare le parti interessate con acqua e consultare il medico.
•
Pericolo d’ingestione! I bambini possono ingerire le batterie e
soocare. Tenere quindi le batterie lontano dalla portata dei bambini!
•
Prestare attenzione alla polarità positiva (+) e negativa (-).
•
In caso di fuoriuscita di liquido dalla batteria, indossare guanti protettivi
e pulire il vano batterie con un panno asciutto.
•
Proteggere le batterie dal caldo eccessivo.
•
Rischio di esplosione! Non gettare le batterie nel fuoco.
•
Le batterie non devono essere ricaricate o mandate in cortocircuito.
•
Qualora l’apparecchio non dovesse essere utilizzato per un periodo
prolungato, rimuovere le batterie dal vano batterie.
•
Utilizzare solo tipologie di batterie uguali o equivalenti.
•
Sostituire sempre tutte le batterie contemporaneamente.
•
Non utilizzare batterie ricaricabili!
•
Non smontare, aprire o frantumare le batterie.

Questo termometro è un apparecchio elettronico sensibile e va trattato

Non esporre l’apparecchio alla luce diretta del sole.

Il termometro NON è impermeabile. Evitare pertanto il contatto diretto
con l’acqua o con altri liquidi.

Il termometro multifunzione SFT 75 è stato concepito solo per la zona
di misurazione indicata nelle istruzioni per l’uso.
•
Dopo ogni utilizzo pulire il sensore del termometro con un panno mor-
bido inumidito con del disinfettante.

Prima di inoltrare eventuali reclami, testare le batterie e se necessa-
rio sostituirle.

Le batterie sono già presenti sugli apparecchi nuovi. Prima del primo
impiego rimuovere la linguetta protettiva dal vano batterie. Il termometro
multifunzione si accende automaticamente.
7. Impostazioni di base
Nel termometro multifunzione è possibile eettuare le seguenti impos-
tazioni di base: unità della temperatura (Celsius/Fahrenheit), data e ora.
1. Per accendere l’apparecchio, premere il pulsante ON/MIS .
2. Premere per cinque secondi il pulsante S.
3.
L’unità di temperatura attualmente impostata lam-
peggia sul display. Selezionare l’unità di tempe-
ratura con il pulsante S (°C oppure °F). Conferma-
re con il pulsante M.
4. L’anno lampeggia sul display. Selezionare l’anno
corrente con il pulsante S. Confermare con il
pulsante M.
5. Il mese lampeggia sul display. Selezionare il me
-
se corrente con il pulsante S. Confermare con
il pulsante M.
6. Il giorno lampeggia sul display. Selezionare il
giorno corrente con il pulsante S. Confermare

Attivazione/Disattivazione del tono pulsanti
Nell’apparecchio è possibile attivare/disattivare il tono pulsanti.
Se il tono pulsanti è attivo, viene emesso un segnale acustico ogni volta
che viene premuto un pulsante e dopo ogni misurazione.
Per attivare il tono pulsanti, premere brevemente il pulsante S ad appa
-
recchio acceso. Sul display viene visualizzato il simbolo dell’altoparlante
. Per disattivare il tono pulsanti, premere di nuovo il pulsante S. Il sim-
bolo dell’altoparlante non viene più visualizzato.
8. Informazioni utili per la misurazione
Esistono diversi termometri che prevedono la misurazione della tempe-
ratura in punti del corpo dierenti:
•
Termometro auricolare/frontale (termometro per la misurazione
nell’orecchio o sulla fronte)
•
Termometro tradizionale (per la misurazione rettale, ascellare oppu-
re orale)
Nota
La misurazione della temperatura fornisce un valore che indica la tem
-
peratura corporea attuale di un soggetto.
Se non si è sicuri dell’interpretazione dei risultati o se risultano dei valori
anomali, è consigliabile rivolgersi al proprio medico curante. Lo stesso
dicasi in caso di lievi oscillazioni della temperatura in presenza di altri
sintomi quali agitazione, intensa sudorazione, arrossamento della pelle,
elevata frequenza cardiaca, svenimenti, ecc.
Non è possibile confrontare temperature misurate con tipi di termo-
metro diversi.
È pertanto necessario riferire al proprio medico (o tenerne conto in caso
di autodiagnosi) il tipo di termometro utilizzato per la misurazione e il
punto del corpo in cui la misurazione è stata eettuata.
La temperatura di un soggetto sano è influenzata da diversi fattori qua-
li il metabolismo (soggettivo e diverso da persona a persona), l’età (la
temperatura corporea risulta più alta nei neonati e nei bambini per poi
abbassarsi gradualmente con l’età; nei bambini gli sbalzi di tempera-
tura sono rapidi e frequenti a causa ad esempio dei picchi di crescita),
l’abbigliamento, la temperatura esterna, l’ora della giornata (al mattino
la temperatura corporea è più bassa e si alza nel corso della giornata),
l’attività fisica intrapresa e, in minima parte, l’attività mentale.
La temperatura varia a seconda del punto del corpo in cui viene misu
-
rata. Nei soggetti sani si parla di uno scostamento compreso tra 0,2 °C
(0,4 °F) e 1 °C (1,8 °F).
È pertanto possibile definire normali i seguenti intervalli di temperatura:
•
misurazione sulla fronte: da 37,6 °C (96,4 °F) a 37,6 °C (99,7 °F) con
termometro frontale
•
misurazione nell’orecchio: da 36 °C (96,8 °F) a 37,8 °C (100 °F) con
termometro per orecchio
•
misurazione rettale: da 36,3 °C (97,3 °F) a 37,8 °C (100 °F) con ter-
mometro tradizionale
•
misurazione orale: da 36°C (96,8 °F) a 37,4 °C (99,3 °F) con termo-
metro tradizionale
Per valutare l’andamento della temperatura, misurarla sempre nello stes-
so punto.
9. Misurazione
Nota
Prima di ogni utilizzo, verificare che la lente non sia danneggiata. In caso
di danni rivolgersi al proprio rivenditore o al Servizio clienti.
Accertarsi che il termometro multifunzione si trovi nelle stesse condizi

9.1 Misurazione della temperatura frontale
Nota
Assicurarsi che la fronte e le tempie non siano coperte da sudore o truc-
co e tenere presente che la misurazione frontale può essere falsata
dall’assunzione di medicinali vasocostrittori e da irritazioni cutanee.
1. Per accendere il termometro multifunzione, premere il pulsante ON/

L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo 60
secondi.

Pulire l’apparecchio dopo ogni utilizzo come indicato nel capitolo
"Pulizia/Conservazione".
9.2 Misurazione della temperatura auricolare
AVVERTENZA
•
Alcune persone presentano valori diversi nell’orecchio sinistro e
nell’orecchio destro. Per poter valutare l’andamento della tempera-
tura, misurarla sempre nello stesso orecchio.
•
Il termometro per orecchio integrato deve essere utilizzato dai bambini
solo sotto sorveglianza degli adulti. Generalmente è possibile procede-
re a una misurazione nell’orecchio dopo i 6 mesi di vita. Nei bambini di
età inferiore a 6 mesi il canale auricolare è ancora molto stretto, spesso
non è quindi possibile rilevare la temperatura e vengono visualizzati
valori di misurazione troppo bassi.
•
Non eettuare la misurazione nell’orecchio in presenza di patologie
infiammatorie (ad es. fuoriuscita di pus, secrezione) e possibili lesi-
oni (ad es. lesioni al timpano) o durante la convalescenza in seguito
a interventi chirurgici. In tutti questi casi si consiglia di consultare il
proprio medico curante.
•
In presenza di determinate patologie acute e infettive, l’utilizzo del
termometro multifunzione su più persone, nonostante la pulizia e la
disinfezione, è da sconsigliare a causa del possibile scambio di germi.
Per casi particolari rivolgersi al proprio medico curante.

Se si lascia il termometro inserito nell’orecchio per troppo tempo, la
temperatura risulta leggermente più alta. Attendere qualche minuto o
procedere alla misurazione nell’altro orecchio.
•
La presenza di cerume può influire sulla misurazione: pulire pertanto
l’orecchio prima di misurare la temperatura.

di introdurre il sensore nell’orecchio
tirare leggermente il padiglione indie-
tro verso l’alto per consentire al sen-
sore di entrare direttamente in contat-
to con il timpano.
Posizionamento nei bambini
Nei bambini di età inferiore a un anno:
•
Sdraiare il bambino su un fianco, in modo che un
orecchio sia rivolto verso l’alto.
•
Tirare delicatamente indietro l’orecchio e introdurre
con cautela il sensore nell’orecchio.
Nei bambini di età superiore a un anno:
•
Stare in piedi, leggermente spostati su un fianco
del bambino.
•
Tirare delicatamente indietro e verso l’alto l’orecchio
e introdurre con cautela il sensore nell’orecchio.

Introdurre con cautela il sensore nell’orecchio e
premere il pulsante
ON/MIS per un secondo .
5. Il valore misurato viene visualizzato sul display e al
termine della misurazione viene emesso un breve
segnale acustico (se il tono pulsanti è attivo).
6. Se il valore misurato è compreso nell’intervallo stan
-
dard (< 38 °C/100,4 °F), si accende il LED verde. Se
il valore misurato è superiore all’intervallo standard
(≥ 38 °C/100,4 °F, febbre), si accende il LED rosso.
7. L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo 60 secondi.
8. Pulire l’apparecchio dopo ogni utilizzo come indicato nel capitolo
"Pulizia/Conservazione".
9.3 Misurazione della temperatura superficiale
1. Per accendere il termometro multifunzione, premere il pulsante ON/
MIS
.
2. Premere quindi contemporaneamente per 3 secondi il pulsante M e
il pulsante S per passare alla modalità di misurazione della tempe
-
ratura superficiale. Sul display LCD viene visualizzato il simbolo .
3.
Premere il pulsante ON/MIS e,
mantenendo una distanza di 3 cm, rivolgere
il sensore verso l’oggetto o il liquido da mi
-
surare (non immergere mai il termometro nei
liquidi).
4. Rilasciare il pulsante ON/MIS
.
Il valore misurato viene visualizzato sul
display e al termine della misurazione
viene emesso un breve segnale acustico
(se il tono pulsanti è attivo).
5. Per uscire dalla modalità di misurazione della temperatura superfi
-
ciale, tenere di nuovo premuti contemporaneamente il pulsante M
e il pulsante S.
6. L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo 60 secondi.

Tenere presente che il valore indicato non rappresenta la temperatura
superficiale adattata, bensì quella rilevata e non può pertanto essere
paragonato con la temperatura frontale o auricolare.
9.4 Visualizzazione dei valori memorizzati
L’apparecchio memorizza automaticamente le ultime 30 misurazioni. Se
le 30 posizioni di memoria sono tutte occupate, viene di volta in volta
cancellato il valore più remoto.
Per richiamare i valori memorizzati, procedere come segue:
1. Per accendere il termometro multifunzione, premere il pulsante ON/
MIS
.
2. Premere il pulsante M. Sul display viene visualizzato il valore più re
-
cente.
3.
Per commutare fra i singoli valori memorizzati, premere il pulsante M.
4. L’apparecchio si spegne automaticamente dopo 60 secondi.
10. Sostituzione delle batterie
Prima di sostituire le batterie, accertarsi che l’apparecchio sia spento.
Quando le batterie stanno per scaricarsi, compare sul display l’icona di
batteria scarica
. È ancora possibile eettuare misurazioni, ma è
necessario sostituire le batterie appena possibile.
Se l’icona di batteria scarica e lampeggiano sul
display, è necessario sostituire immediatamente le batterie.
Quando le batterie sono troppo scariche, il termometro si
spegne automaticamente.
Per sostituire le batterie, attenersi alle seguenti indicazioni:
1. Allentare con un cacciavite la vite sul coperchio del vano batterie.
2. Rimuovere il coperchio del vano batterie.
3. Estrarre le batterie esauste dal vano batterie.
4.
Inserire le nuove batterie nel vano batterie, finché non scattano in
posizione. Prestare attenzione a rispettare la corretta polarità (+/-)
delle batterie.
5. Rimontare il coperchio del vano batterie.
6.
Serrare di nuovo la
vite sul coperchio del
vano batterie con un
cacciavite.
11. Pulizia/Conservazione
•
Pulire il sensore e il cappuccio protetti-
vo/per misurazione frontale dopo ogni
utilizzo. A tale scopo utilizzare un pan

no morbido o un cotton fioc imbevuto
di disinfettante, alcol o acqua calda.
•
Per la pulizia dell’intero apparecchio
utilizzare un panno morbido leggermente
inumidito con acqua e sapone.
•
Non utilizzare detergenti aggressivi.
•
Riporre sempre il termometro lasciando
inserito il cappuccio protettivo/per misu
-
razione frontale.
•
Se si prevede di non utilizzare
l’apparecchio per un lungo periodo, rimuovere le batterie.
•
Non utilizzare né riporre l’apparecchio in luoghi esposti a temperature
troppo alte o troppo basse, all’umidità (vedere Dati tecnici), alla luce
solare, alla corrente elettrica o alla polvere, diversamente le misurazioni
potrebbero non essere corrette.

12. Smaltimento
Smaltire le batterie esauste e completamente scariche negli appositi
punti di raccolta, nei punti di raccolta per rifiuti tossici o presso i ne-
gozi di elettronica. Lo smaltimento delle batterie è un obbligo di legge.
I simboli riportati di seguito indicano che le batterie contengono
sostanze tossiche.
Pb = la batteria contiene piombo,
Cd = batteria contenente cadmio
Hg = batteria contenente mercurio
Per motivi ecologici, l’apparecchio non deve essere
smaltito tra i normali rifiuti quando viene buttato via. Lo
smaltimento deve essere eettuato negli appositi centri di
raccolta. Smaltire l’apparecchio secondo la direttiva
europea sui rifiuti di apparecchiature elettriche ed
elettroniche (RAEE). Per eventuali chiarimenti, rivolgersi alle
autorità comunali competenti per lo smaltimento.
