Insert the spool pin into the hole as shown.

Place a spool of thread on the spool pin with the thread
coming off the back of spool as illustrated.
A: Press the large spool holder _i_firmly against the spool
of thread.

Eli Push the hook cover plate release button _i_to the right
and remove the cover plate.
