Do not use any accessories, for example pil‐
lows, while driving.
Correctly adjusted head restraint
General information
A correctly adjusted head restraint reduces the
risk of injury to cervical vertebrae in the event
of an accident.
Height
Adjust the head restraint so that its center is
approximately at eye level.
Adjusting the height
To raise: push.
To lower: press button, arrow 1, and push
headrest down.
Folding down
To lower flaps: press the button, arrow 1,
and press down the head restraint, arrow 2.
Fold back up: pull up head restraints.
Removing
Fold the seat down, refer to page 153, before
removing the head restraint, otherwise the
head restraint cannot be removed.
1. Pull head restraint up against the resist‐
ance.
2. Press button, arrow 1, and pull the head re‐
straint out completely.
Only remove the head restraint if no one will be
sitting in the seat in question.
Seat and mirror memory
The concept
Two driver's seat and exterior mirror positions
can be stored per profile, refer to page 36, and
called up. Settings for the backrest width and
lumbar support are not stored in memory.
Information
WARNING
There is risk of jamming when moving the
seats. There is risk of injuries or risk of property
damage. Make sure that the area of movement
of the seat is clear prior to any adjustment.
WARNING
Using the memory function while driving
can lead to unexpected movements of the seat.
Vehicle control could be lost. There is risk of an
accident. Only retrieve the memory function
when the vehicle is stationary
