WARNINGS
Do not plug optional electrical
accessories into the cigar lighter
socket. Incorrect use of the cigar
lighter can cause damage not covered by
the vehicle warranty, and can result in fire
or serious injury.
Incorrect use of the power points can
cause damage not covered by the
vehicle warranty, and can result in
fire or serious injury.
Note: You can use the socket to power 12
volt appliances with a maximum current
rating of 10 amps.
Note: Do not insert objects other than an
accessory plug into the power point. This
will damage the outlet and blow the fuse.
Note: Do not hang any type of accessory or
accessory bracket from the plug.
Note: Do not use the power point for
operating a cigar lighter element.
Note: Improper use of the power point can
cause damage not covered by your
warranty.
Note: Always keep the power point caps
closed when not in use.
Run the engine for full capacity use of the
power point.
To prevent the battery from being
discharged:
Do not use the power point longer than
necessary when the engine is not
running.
It is strongly recommended that you
always disconnect the accessories
from the power point (12 volt) when
leaving your vehicle.
Location
Power points may be in the following
locations:
In the center console.
Next to the rear seat on the right hand
side.
CIGAR LIGHTER (If Equipped)
Note: Do not hold the cigar lighter element
pressed in.
Note: If you use the socket when the engine
is not running, the battery may discharge.
Note: You can use the socket to power 12
volt appliances with a maximum current
rating of 10 amps.
Note: Use only Ford accessory connectors
or connectors specified for use with SAE
standard sockets.

Press the element in to use the cigar
lighter. It will pop out automatically.
Location
The cigar lighter may be found in the center
console in place of the power point.
