GENERAL INFORMATION
A decal with tire pressure data is located
in the driver’s door opening.
Check and set the tire pressure at the
ambient temperature in which you are
intending to drive your vehicle and when
the tires are cold.
Note: Check your tire pressures regularly to
optimize fuel economy.
Note: Use only approved wheel and tire
sizes. Using other sizes could damage your
vehicle and will make the National Type
Approval invalid.
Note: If you change the diameter of the tires
from that fitted at the factory, the
speedometer may not display the correct
speed. Take your vehicle to an authorized
dealer to have the engine management
system reprogrammed.

Note: Front tires shown on the left side of
the diagram.
To make sure the front and rear tires of
your vehicle wear evenly and last longer,
we recommend that you swap the tires
from front to rear and vice versa at regular
intervals between 5,000 km and
10,000 km.
If the tire label shows different tire
pressures for the front and rear tires and
the vehicle is equipped with a tire pressure
monitoring system, then the settings for
the system sensors need to be updated.
Always perform the system reset
procedure after rotation. If the system is
not reset, it may not provide a low tire
pressure warning when necessary. See
Tire Pressure Monitoring System (page
174).
Note: Your vehicle may be equipped with
a dissimilar spare tire and wheel assembly.
A dissimilar spare tire and wheel assembly
is defined as a spare tire or wheel that is
different in brand, size or appearance from
the road tires and wheels. If you have a
dissimilar spare tire and wheel assembly, it
is intended for temporary use only and
should not be used in a tire rotation.
Note: After having your tires rotated,
inflation pressure must be checked and
adjusted to the vehicle requirements.
WARNING
Do not scrub the sidewalls of the
tires when you are parking.
If you have to mount a curb, do so slowly
and approach it with the wheels at
right-angles to the curb.
Examine the tires regularly for cuts, foreign
objects and uneven wear of the tread.
Uneven wear could mean that the wheel
alignment is outside specification.
Check the tire pressures (including the
spare) when cold, every two weeks.
