Always use a lid when cooking rice. Adding more water to the rice
lengthens the cooking time. Rice control can only be started on a cooking
zone that is switched off.
Optimum amount per cooking zone
The following information on cooking times for different amounts of rice refer
to the most common types of rice such as long-grain, basmati, jasmine and
wild rice. Add another 15minutes to the cooking times below for unhusked
rice such as whole-grain rice.
