Use Guide
Before First Use
- Remove all packaging materials.
- Wash the mug plate and the permanent filter (if using ground coffee) with warm, soapy water. Rinse thoroughly.
- Perform a cleaning brew by running a full cycle (12 oz.) using clean water only, without any coffee. This removes any residual materials from manufacturing.
Daily Brewing Instructions
- Add Water: Lift the lid and fill the water tank with fresh, cold water. Do not exceed the maximum water level indicated on the tank.
- Prepare Coffee:
- For K-Cups: Place a compatible K-Cup pod into the pod holder.
- For Ground Coffee: Insert the permanent filter into the holder. Add one tablespoon of ground coffee per 6 oz. of water, or to taste.
- Place Your Mug: Position a mug (up to 5 inches tall) on the mug plate beneath the brew head.
- Brew: Press the brew button once. The brewing process will begin. Your coffee will be ready in approximately 2 minutes.
- Completion: The machine will stop automatically. You can remove your mug immediately.
Descaling and Cleaning
Important: Ensure the capsule holder or ground coffee filter is empty before starting the descaling process.
- When the descaling reminder light illuminates (red), prepare a descaling solution as recommended by the solution manufacturer.
- Fill the water tank with the descaling solution.
- Press and hold the brew button for 2 seconds to initiate the self-cleaning cycle.
- Allow the cycle to complete, then run 1-2 cycles with clean water to rinse the system thoroughly.
Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water or place it in a dishwasher.
