Use Guide

Initial Setup and First Use

  1. Unpack the coffee maker and all components (coffee maker, permanent filter, K-Cup holder).
  2. Place the machine on a flat, stable, and heat-resistant surface.
  3. Before the first brew, fill the water tank to the maximum level with clean water and run a brewing cycle without coffee to clean the internal system. Discard this water.

Brewing with K-Cup Pods

  1. Lift the lid and insert a standard K-Cup pod into the designated holder.
  2. Close the lid securely.
  3. Fill the water tank with the desired amount of cold water (6 to 12 oz). Do not exceed the maximum water level.
  4. Place your mug on the drip tray.
  5. Press the brew button. The brewing cycle will begin, and your coffee will be ready in approximately 120 seconds.
  6. The machine will automatically shut off when brewing is complete.

Brewing with Ground Coffee

  1. Lift the lid and remove the K-Cup holder if present.
  2. Insert the permanent filter basket into the brew head.
  3. Add one tablespoon of ground coffee per 6 ounces of water into the filter.
  4. Close the lid securely.
  5. Fill the water tank with the desired amount of cold water.
  6. Place your mug on the drip tray and press the brew button.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Daily Cleaning

  • Remove and rinse the K-Cup holder or permanent filter after each use.
  • Wipe the exterior of the machine with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the main unit in water.
  • Empty and rinse the drip tray regularly.

Descaling Procedure

The descaling reminder light will illuminate in red when maintenance is required.

  1. Ensure the K-Cup holder and ground coffee filter are empty.
  2. Fill the water tank with a descaling solution mixed with water as per the solution's instructions.
  3. Place a large mug or container on the drip tray.
  4. Press and hold the brew button for 2 seconds to initiate the self-cleaning descaling cycle.
  5. Allow the entire solution to run through the machine.
  6. Rinse the water tank thoroughly and run at least two cycles with clean water to flush out any remaining descaling solution.

Regular descaling prevents clogging and ensures optimal performance and longevity.
