Use Guide
Initial Setup
- Unpack the steamer and all components.
- Ensure the power switch is in the OFF position and the unit is unplugged.
- Fill the water tank with clean, preferably distilled, water. Do not overfill.
- Securely close the water tank cap.
Operating Instructions
- Plug the power cord into a standard electrical outlet.
- Turn the power switch to the ON (I) position. The indicator light should illuminate.
- Wait approximately 9 seconds for the steamer to heat up. Steam will begin to emit from the nozzle.
- Hold the steamer vertically, a short distance from the fabric.
- Gently glide the steamer over the garment in downward strokes, applying light tension to the fabric with your other hand for best results.
- For stubborn wrinkles, hold the steamer in place for a few seconds to allow the steam to penetrate.
After Use
- Turn the power switch to the OFF (O) position.
- Unplug the steamer from the electrical outlet.
- Allow the steamer to cool completely before storing.
- Empty any remaining water from the tank before long-term storage.
Fabric Guide
- Recommended: Cotton, linen, wool, silk, polyester, and most common garment fabrics.
- Test First: Always test the steamer on an inconspicuous area of delicate, synthetic, or specialty fabrics (like velvet or sequins) before general use.
- Do not use on leather, suede, or plastic materials.
Care and Maintenance
- Always unplug and let the steamer cool before cleaning.
- Wipe the exterior with a soft, damp cloth. Do not immerse in water.
- To prevent mineral buildup, use distilled water. If using tap water, descale periodically according to the frequency of your local water hardness.
- Check the nozzle for blockages and clean gently if necessary.
- Store the steamer in a cool, dry place.
Troubleshooting
- No steam: Ensure the unit is plugged in, switched on, and has had sufficient time to heat up. Check that the water tank is filled.
- Weak steam: The water tank may be empty or the nozzle could be partially blocked. Check and clean the nozzle.
- Water dripping: Do not overfill the water tank. Ensure the steamer is held in the correct vertical position during use.
- Unit not turning on: Check the power connection and outlet. Ensure the power switch is in the ON position.
