There are three ways to set up your remote:
Note: This remote comes pre-set for Insignia
TVs and DVD players, DIRECTV set-top boxes, and AppleTV streaming.
If the remote control does not work with your device, use method B or C to change the setup.

5. Find your device type and brand in the tables below, then press and hold its number until your device turns off. Release the button when your device turns off and the remote's LED blinks twice. Setup for that device is complete.
Note: If your brand does not appear in the table below, use "Setup method B: Direct code entry"or "Setup method C: Code search."

5. Press and hold OK until your device turns off. Release the button when your device turns off and the remote's LED blinks twice. Setup for that device is complete.
While watching TV in STB and STREAM mode, you can:
(power) once to turn your set-top box on or off.OR

To lock the volume of all four modes to one device, turn off watch TV mode. See “Watch TV mode”for instructions.

If you want to lock the channel of all four modes to one device, deactivate Watch TV mode as described above.
