Tomato soup
Ingredients:
- 500g tomatoes
- 80g onion
- 1 clove garlic
- 2tbsp olive oil
- 10g vegetable stock powder
- 500ml water
- 5g salt
- A pinch of ground black pepper
- 45g crème fraîche
1 Peel the onion and the garlic and chop coarsely.
2 Remove the crowns from the tomatoes and wash the tomatoes.
3 Cut the tomatoes into 4 pieces (into 8 pieces for very big tomatoes).
4 Put a pot on the cooker and select the high heat setting.
5 Add the oil, the onions and the garlic and roast until glossy.
6 Add the tomatoes and stir-fry them for approx. 1-2 minutes (stir every now and then).
7 Add the water and the stock and wait until the water boils.
8 Blend the ingredients until you have a smooth soup.
9 Let it boil for 10 minutes, then add the salt and pepper and the crème fraîche.
Mashed potatoes
Ingredients:
- 750g mealy (puree) potatoes
- 250ml hot milk (approx. 90°C)
- 20g butter
- Salt
1 Peel the potatoes and cut them into pieces of about 4x4x4cm.
2 Cook the potato pieces in salt water until they are completely soft (approx. 20 minutes).
3 Pour off the water, add the hot milk and the butter and mash until smooth.
