Panasonic KX-HN7003W Questions and Answers

#1 What’s the minimum network speed I need for this unit to work properly?

We would recommend a minimum speed of 5Mbps down and 3Mbps up, with optimal performance at 7Mbps down and 5Mbps up.

#2 Two way talk with echo show?

There is no two way talk with echo show and google.
You can only view the live video / audio.

#3 Since latest homehawk app update for both my ipad and samsung phones, i do not see any battery level displayed. is this normal?

Yes, if it shows it blank, it means that the battery is fully charged.

#4 Where should I put the access point? Does it need to be close to the cameras?

The access point plugs into your home router. For optimal performance, you'll want to avoid as much interference between the access point and the cameras as possible. Heavy-duty walls and floors made of concrete brick or metal can reduce the range of your Wi-Fi signal. Wood and glass do not have as much effect. Also be conscious of other devices on the same network, competing Wi-Fi networks (in densely populated cities) and avoid placing the access point near your microwave.

#5 I'm having trouble removing the camera to charge it. I'm using the long camera over my front door, not the small camera with the magnetic mount.

Please regularly remove any dust, etc. from the AC adaptor/power plug by pulling it from
the power outlet, then wiping with a dry cloth. Accumulated dust may cause an insulation defect.

#6 What is the voltage of this battery?

The battery cannot be serviced. The operating specifications stated in the manual are the only specifications available.

#7 How can i hide the ssid of the access point?

Kindly be informed that the SSID is for the router not the access point. Please check the settings of the router.
