FROTHING LATTE
Follow steps 1–2.
3. Press the POWER|SELECT button three
times and the Latte setting indicator light
will flash, indicating the frothing cycle will
start.
4. When the frothing cycle has finished, the
machine will stop automatically and the
indicator light will no longer illuminate.
Pour the frothed milk into a cup and enjoy.
FROTHING BABY LATTE
Follow steps 1–2.
3. Press the POWER|SELECT button 4 times
and the blue indicator light will flash,
indicating the Baby Latte frothing cycle will
start.
4. When the frothing cycle has finished, the
machine will stop automatically and the
indicator light will no longer illuminate.
Pour the frothed milk into a cup and enjoy.
SAFETY FEATURES
Standby
After 60 seconds of non-use the milk frother
will enter standby mode and the LED light
will cease to illuminate. To re-activate the
milk frother out of standby mode, press the
POWER|SELECT button.
Boil Dry Protection
The milk frother will automatically cease
to operate if the jug overheats. This can be
caused if the jug is empty, if liquid is below
the MIN measurement marking, or after
consecutive uses. If this occurs, all LED
lights will flash. Unplug the power cord
from the power outlet, wait approximately
10 minutes for the milk frother to cool down
or fill the milk jug with water for faster
cooling. Once adequately cooled, you will
be able to re-activate the milk frother.
Thermal Fuse Protection
This feature protects the milk frother from
overheating.
If this occurs, the milk frother will
automatically turn off and will not
re-activate. Immediately cease use and
unplug from the power outlet and contact
Breville Consumer Support.
Care & Cleaning
The jug and lid with attached whisk should
be cleaned after each use to prevent build-
up of milk residue.
1. Unplug the power cord from the power
outlet before cleaning.
2. The jug and lid will be hot after use. Wait for
both to cool before rinsing in tap water.
3. Wash the lid with whisk and measuring
spoon in warm soapy water, rinse and
dry thoroughly.
4. Wash the milk jug under running tap water.
Do not immerse the jug in water or any
other liquid.
5. Wipe exterior of appliance with a soft,
damp cloth.
NOTE
The lid with integrated whisk is dishwasher
safe however must be placed on the top
shelf only.
Do not use alkaline or abrasive cleaning
agents, steel wool or scouring pads as these
can damage the surface.
Never immerse the power base in water or
any other liquid. The underside of the jug
must always be dry before placing on power
base prior to use.
Cleaning with Milk Frother Cleaning Sachet
1. Add 6oz (Ideal Choc marking) of water into
the milk jug.
2. Place the entire contents of one Milk
Frother Cleaning Sachet into the jug.
3. Secure lid.
4. Press POWER|SELECT button twice to
select Cappuccino setting.
5. When the cycle is finished, let the milk jug
soak for 10 mins.
6. Discard the solution.
7. Rinse thoroughly and wipe dry.
WARNING
Do not submerge milk frother under water.
Do not place hot jug on heat sensitive
surfaces.
Tips
Always use cold, fresh (or freshly opened)
milk.
Some milks produce more froth than others.
Experiment with different milk options to
achieve the desired result.
For best results, do not exceed the
MAX (8.5oz) marking inside the jug.
Remove excess air bubbles from frothed milk
by gently tapping jug on a bench.
Swirl frothed milk in a circular motion before
pouring milk into a cup or glass.
Pour frothed milk promptly to keep the milk
from separating. Frothed milk that is not used
immediately should not be reheated.
Ensure jug and frothing disc are clean
before use.
