before operating this appliance. The following is a guide to using your dryer.
Please refer to specic sections of this manual for more detailed information.
NOTE: This Use and Care Guide covers several different models. Your dryer may not have all of the cycles and features described.
STOPPING OR RESTARTING
To pause/stop the dryer at any time - Open the door or
press PAUSE/CANCEL once.
To restart the dryer - Close the door. Press and Hold
START button until dryer starts.
To cancel the dryer at anytime - Press PAUSE/CANCEL
twice.
Use Manual cycles for timed drying.
1. Press POWER.
2. Rotate the dial to a Manual Cycle.
3. Press TIMING up or down arrow buttons until the
desired drying time is displayed.
4. Press TEMP ADJUST until the desired temperature
illuminates.
5. Press and Hold START.
To make changes during a Timed Dry Cycle:
1. Press PAUSE/CANCEL once.
2. Adjust the Time, Temperature, WRINKLE SHIELD™
feature, and End of Cycle Signal.
3. Press and Hold START.
TIMED DRY - Use this cycle if items are still damp after an
Auto cycle.
QUICK DRY - Use for items requiring a short drying time.
TOUCH UP - Use this cycle to help smooth out wrinkles
from clean, dry clothes.
MANUAL CYCLES
AUTO CYCLES
Auto Cycles match the cycle setting to the type
of load, and adjust Dryness for optimal
performance. See “Auto Preset Cycle
Settings Chart.”
To make changes to the Dryness and/or Options
during an Auto Cycle:
1. Press PAUSE/CANCEL once.
2. Select DRYNESS and/or OPTION.
NOTE: Dryness level selections can be made only while
using Auto Cycles. Selecting More Dry, Normal, or Less
Dry automatically adjusts the sensed time needed.
3. Press and Hold START.
1. Clean lint screen before each load.
2. Place laundry in dryer and shut door.
3. Press POWER.
4. Select AUTO or MANUAL Cycle.
5. Select WRINKLE SHIELD™ feature, if desired.

6. Select END OF CYCLE SIGNAL to turn off, if desired.

7. Press and Hold START to start.
