5 Operating the appliance
When the appliance is switched off, all the displays are dark (stand-by mode),
except for the residual heat indicator should the cooking zone still be hot.
5.1 Switching the appliance on and off
Operation is roughly the same for all appliances.
► Switching on the appliance: Hold button down for 1 second.

If there is no further input, the appliance switches off after 10 seconds
for safety reasons.
► Switching the appliance off: Press the button.
5.2 Selecting a cooking zone
► Press or slide your finger along the slider to set the power level.
