converted into an

by the transmitter

signal (optical signal)

transmitted
to the photo-transistor through the optical
ring
(3) The optical signal

reconverted into electrical
signal
by the photo-transistor and transmitted
to the receiver. Receiver controls A

radio.
By
the three steps mentioned above, the on-off
sig-
nal
of
the
switch on
the
steering wheel
is
optically
transmitted.
