Problem Possible cause and solution
The compressor is turn-
ing on more frequently
and for longer periods
of time; the temperature
in the refrigeration ap-
pliance is too low.
The ventilation gaps are obstructed or dusty.
Do not block the ventilation gaps.
Clean the ventilation gaps on a regular basis to re-
move any dust.
The appliance door has been opened too frequently,
or a large number of bottles have been put inside the
unit all at once.
Only open the appliance door when necessary and
for as short a time as possible.
After a while, the temperature will return to normal by
itself.
The ambient temperature is too high. The higher the
ambient temperature, the longer the compressor has
to run.
See the information in “Installation – Installation lo-
cation”.
The temperature setting is too low.
Correct the temperature setting.
The Automatic SuperCool function is still turned on.
To save energy, you can turn off Automatic Super-
Cool early yourself.
The compressor comes
on less and less often
and for shorter periods
of time. The tempera-
ture in the appliance
rises.
This is not a fault. The temperature is too high.
Correct the temperature setting.
Check the temperature again after 24hours.
An alarm is sounding. The door alarm has been activated (see “Door
alarm”).
Close the appliance door.
The alarm will stop.
The door seal is dam-
aged or needs to be re-
placed.
No tools are required to change the door seal.
Change the door seal. A replacement is available
from Technical Service.
