Using a Filter
Use a filter when the flash is too bright or when the colour temperature of the flash
and that of the environment are clearly different.
Attach a filter to the flash.
Hold both the top and bottom of the filter with your fingers to
attach it.
When a filter is being used, the guide number drops. If the flash is set to one of the manual
modes or Multi Flash Mode and the diffuser or the warming filter is attached to it, correct
the flash intensity using the following values as an approximate guide.
Other Settings
The following options can be selected in the control panel.
1 Press the [OK] button.
An item will blink in the control panel.
2 Press 3/4/2/1 to highlight items.
3 Rotate the dial to select the setting,
and then press [OK] button.
Filter Use
Diffuser (Whiter) Diffuses the direct light emitted by
the flash, softening the light.
Warming filter
(Orange)
Keeps the atmosphere of warm-
coloured lighting.
IR filter
(Black)
Blocks unnecessary light that
illuminates the front of the camera
during wireless flash recording.

(LED light)
Choose whether the LED lights automatically or manually.
[A]: Lights automatically as required.
[M]: Lights when the LED light button is pressed.
None: Does not light.
GN (guide number) Adjust flash level.
ISO sensitivity Adjust ISO sensitivity.
Group Choose a group for [RC] mode. (P13)
Aperture Adjust aperture.
Channel Choose a channel for [RC] mode. (P13)
