#2 Does this model allow you to remote start with wifi or an app?

Model DLEX8100V does not have Wi-Fi connectivity the support the LG ThinQ Application

#3 Do I need to purchase any other parts in order to hook this up where my old dryer used to be?

You will need a power cord. A 4-wire connection must be used where local codes do not permit grounding through the neutral wire. Failure to do so can result in fire, explosion, or death. The dryer should be connected to 4-hole outlet. Plug dryer into a 120 VAC,60Hz grounded.
